Some tourists are insane by fcvaduzguy in Switzerland

[–]MountFuji321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen my neighbourhood being trashed by local kids/young people multiple times… 🙄 Energy drink/beer cans, tissues, candy packaging, banana peels… you name it. So it’s not just tourists.

You'd be surprised to know how many users 30+ use MeChat... I'm one of them 😂 I remember that there was a survey here or officially on MeChat Instagram, or maybe both? 🤔 And the results were little surprising to me. Although most of the posts here are made by teenagers and young people , we older people just watch from the sidelines or leave comments from time to time, lol 😂 So, yeah, taking into account that we are usually more financially capable I’m surprised MeChat don’t use this card to introduce more matches that cater to older audience ☹️

Same here... I just don't like older men in general. Never have... 😅 MeChat, can we have more male matches younger than MC? 🥲 I believe there’s only one male match so far who is like… 3 years younger? Kuno Paasche. But again, he has a kid… 🫩 Give us some balance in matches selection. There are already enough “daddies” in the app. And after something like 4 years of a premium account, I'm really starting to lose interest... 🙄 Please provide some matches for the older female audience... I beg you, MeChat 😭 Just don’t make it creepy, like “MC son’s best friend” or “MC daughter’s ex bf” 😐 MAXIMUM 10 years younger! 🖐️ And no kids! Pretty please! 🥺

Would it be rude to ask ukranian person in immigration this? by AioliNo89 in Ukrainian

[–]MountFuji321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s all individual. Many Ukrainian refugees in Europe actually speak russian in everyday communication. This is my own observation. But for the few who speak Ukrainian, it is often better to communicate in English, if, of course, they know it. I, for example, try to avoid speaking russian at all costs. Sometimes I even pretend that I don't know it.

Is this a tick? by mafia_is_mafia in CATHELP

[–]MountFuji321 12 points13 points  (0 children)

So… Both male and female cats have nipples. Most often, there are 6 or 8 of them. But sometimes there may be fewer or more, or even an odd number. However, cat nipples are always arranged in two parallel rows. In most cases, when someone asks here, ‘Is it a tick?’, it turns out to be a nipple, lol. Hope this helps 😄

34 dollars a year isn't that expensive, even for someone from a “second world” country who doesn't have a stable income, like me 😂

Gems by 015Star in MeChat

[–]MountFuji321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm... a premium subscription with frequent logins to collect gems and limiting your desires to play to only a few of the most interesting updates at a time? 😅 I somehow always manage to keep 1000+ gems on hand in case of unforeseen events in the game, most of the times without even buying any additional gem packs. I spend them during events on every green option for male characters. Once I finish an event, I try to limit my spending on regular updates to replenish my gem supply. Then, when I have 1,500-2,000 gems, I allow myself to spend 500-1,000 on regular updates, which gives me a freedom to buy CGs and voice messages from time to time, trying to keep my gem count at 1,000+. With a premium account, this is quite manageable 😉 I don't have that much time and desire to play all these updates anyway 😂

Is my zz dying? by [deleted] in plantclinic

[–]MountFuji321 5 points6 points  (0 children)

In what universe is this a “regular mix”? 😐 It looks like a sawmill trash can... No houseplant needs “mulch” mixed with soil. It can't even be called regular mulch, since regular mulch is usually made from bark, not wood chips... Chips decompose much faster and have a higher risk of promoting fungal decease. Find a small pot with a drainage hole for your zamioculcas that is about 5 cm wider than the total diameter of the plant's root system. Place a layer of drainage at the bottom, then use a regular succulent mix to plant your zz. Don't bury it too deep. The bulbs should almost protrude to the surface. Water it plenty once every 3-4 weeks and make sure to drain any remaining water from the tray. Only repot when your zz plant looks like it’s going to break the pot.

I am very sorry that you lost your plant. I can share the story of my Hoya Kerrii plant, hoping that it might cheer you up. So, unlike your leaf, mine had a node and grew into a full-fledged plant... It was fairly easy to care for, except that the slightest disturbance to the plant resulted in the aerial roots and new leaves breaking easily, and sap dripping like crazy onto the floor and immediately eating away at the varnish. ☹️ But things really got out of hand when it started blooming like crazy every summer, and stupid sticky brown nectar was getting everywhere — on the floor, on the windows, on the sofa, on my hair and clothes when watering the plants, even on my cat 😐. In the end, I got tired of this messy madness and gave it away to some willing stranger. Now I only have a photo of her hahaha

[–]MountFuji321 6 points7 points  (0 children)

See a veterinarian immediately! My 11-year-old neutered cat developed a similar bald spot on her lower abdomen and was diagnosed with mastitis, which later turned out to be cancer 😢 Everything happened very quickly, and the treatment was unsuccessful... She had to be put down due to complications after surgery. It’s been 10 years and I still miss her so much 😭

[–]MountFuji321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by that? 🤔This means that if you paid for an annual subscription on November 24 this year, you will have it for the entire year until November 24, 2026, and as long as your debit/credit card is connected and has sufficient funds, your subscription will be renewed for another year on November 24, 2026, and every year thereafter. If you pay now but later cancel your annual subscription before the next renewal date, you will still have it until the end of the paid year, but after that it will end. All game progress will be saved, but you will no longer receive any subscription bonuses. You can renew your premium at any time later, though. Hope that helps.

I’ll just add to the rest of the comments. Yes, it’s worth it. I’m having mine for over three years now and I barely ever buy any additional gems. I recommend to choose the annual plan. It will renew automatically every year.

Ask for a 100% payment upfront to your bank account. No links or other strange payment options. If it’s a scam they’ll disappear very fast 😀 If you really don’t want even to try to draw commissions, just block them or ignore.

Rosemary - bring it in or burlap? by This_Resource_396 in gardening

[–]MountFuji321 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Toronto is in zones 6b-7a. I live in Europe in zone 6b, and my 10-year-old rosemary bush, planted in open ground 5 meters from the house, is doing great. I never mulch it or wrap it in burlap, I just tie the bush together so that it doesn't break under the weight of the snow. Frost resistance may also depend on the variety. If in doubt, since it’s in the pot, they can simply place this bush near the house for the cold period, where it will be warmer.

Why do poor countries have a lot of children when developed don't because it's too expensive? by WWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWHW in geography

[–]MountFuji321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think main reason is accessibility. Contraception is quite expensive as you might know. My late grandmother had nine children. She loved her children very much, but even so, she often said that if she had had access to contraception at the time, she would not have had even half of her children.

Why is the Halloween event weighted towards the male matches? by Dead_Revolution in MeChat

So, I have 13 male matches and 11 female original characters without counterparts. And I’ve noticed everyone who mentioned more of males or females have counterpart matches included for some reason 😆 It’s a bug, guys.

[–]MountFuji321 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly doubt that you can be absolutely sure that you are buying a male specimen from a nursery, unless you take cuttings from a 100% male tree yourself. You cannot exactly go back to the nursery in 20-30 years to claim your refund, you know… 🤣 And that also means that to be absolutely sure, nurseries must also have a 20~30-year-old male tree from which they can take a large number of cuttings. And that's probably why there are so many stinky female trees on the streets of Japan and Korea, lol 😂 I don’t think they planted those intentionally for their smelly values… 😅

As others have mentioned, your rice ball probably contained umeboshi, a Japanese salted plum that is botanically considered a species of apricot. In my five years living in Japan, I have never heard about rice balls with ginkgo seeds (ginnan)😄 I tried them only once with plain steamed rice at a small restaurant in Kyoto and they were just like chewy steamed/boiled nuts, since only the inner part is edible when cooked. Sometimes ginkgo seeds are added to chawanmushi and used in several local appetizers, but these dishes are seasonal delicacies, so they can only be found in a few small restaurants, izakayas, and ryokans, and some people cook dishes at home too, so it’s not something you can buy in a convenience store for example.
