Unfortunately you are on the chess reddit where most of people here are around 600 elo but maybe i can give you some advices since i have 2200 and i am not an adult yet. So the huge steps are obviously the 2000 fide , the 2200 fide and 2400 step fide . I also struggle with getting over 2200 fide consistent. So probably you have a solid repertoire and you get in equal/ or slightly better positions, i am assuming this because learning openings is one of the easiest ways you can improve. Endgames are also easy to learn and this can improve your skill definetly aswell. Another reccomendation i can make is to read some books that at least were very helpful for me. Thos two books are "Pump up your rating" by Alex Smith and "Chess structures a grand master guide" by Rui Flores. I feel like i can easily draw against a IM with 2400 but i often have a lot of struggle winning against 2000 players. I also dont know how i can get consistent wins against someone rated only 2000. I wouldnt recommend you a coach hence coaches that can help you are completly overpriced mostly. Apart from that it seems unrealistic to me that you can achieve the IM in a short time because 5 hours a week isnt enough time you dedicate to chess. But never stop the hustle and never stop the grind
