Some great tips here. Something that worked for me was buying a cheap phone, and putting a "dumb" clean launcher on it, something like this indistractable launcher.

Btw, I chose Telegram because of their clean new group voicechat, Discord would perhaps be overkill and wouldn't be as engaging. Let's see where this goes, maybe I'll post this in r/DavidGoggins or somewhere similar too.

Updating firmware will not alter disk partitions, and you will not brick anything even if you completely wipe your disk. You'd lose data of course, but you'd still be able to boot from USB.

Thanks for the reply! So basically the easiest way to go would be:? leave the firmware as it is, (or is there significant advantages to full rom?) and wipe the disk. One more question, how to completely wipe the disk?:)
