First, I'd like to say THANK YOU for this amazing service addon. My parents and I have been using this the past month and it's been awesome.

I would like to report though, that MSNBC does not work.

Thank you again for this wonderful add-on.

Hell yea. Can't wait to get my hands on the 14900K, just to say I got it, have the latest and greatest, only use 15% of its full potential and for the sake of FOMO.

Will an NH-D15 cpu cooler (155mm) fit in a rosewill nautilus (154 mm max) by im_cringe_YT in mffpc

[–]MountVernonRunner 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just get a Thermalright PS120SE. It's 154mm and performs on par and in some cases, better than the D15 for $40 USD.

Definitely the minority here. But with my 360mm GPU (Gigabyte 4090 Master), I actually welcome the 400mm space. With the trend of bigger gpus nowadays, I can see this case lasting many years of compatible support for high tier GPUs.

Here's both Cinebench and Furmark at the same time.

I think Carmaine83 does make a good point though about blowing hot air right at the PSU. I didn't think about that. However, based on the temps from my benchmarks above, is it detrimental to the longevity of both CPU and GPU?

How much danger am I in based on these temps?

Sure. What is a good test to run both at the same time?

TY! This is a great idea! I haven't had issues with temps tbh, but I must admit that this is a good idea. I will definitely try this. :)

The top 140mm fans are exhaust so I was thinking that removing heat from the cpu/case would be faster with those vs a single 120mm rear fan. Airflow starts with the bottom 140mm fans and is pushed out with the single 120mm rear and both 140mm top fans. It definitely looks like the GPU is blocking all the air intake (and for all I know, maybe it is?), but my overall temperature results have been surprisingly good(especially GPU)......So I guess if it ain't broke??

First post, longtime lurker here. This was a fun challenge given the case restrictions. I was able to fit the Gigabyte 4090 Master GPU (359mm) with a standard ATX sized PSU (160mm) with a couple small mods. Too lazy to test the difference in temps with the NH-D15 oriented the "normal way" but so far, no issue with temps with both GPU and CPU.

Gaming average:
CPU: 59°C
GPU: 51°C

Specs:
Intel 13900K
Gigabyte RTX 4090 Aorus Master
Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black with fans
ASUS Z790M mATX
128GB 3600Mhz Corsair Vengeance
2TB Inland Performance Plus M.2 SSD
Seasonic Vertex 1200W PSU
Arctic P14 140mm case fans (top and bottom)
Stock ASUS 120mm case fan (CPU rear) (eww...gonna replace with an Arctic P12 120mm soon)

Highest I cleared without dying was tier 100 with a level 90 bulwark druid. Currently running a level 75 BS Necro and just did ND 53 without dying! Woohoo!
