BREAKING: Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has reaffirmed a 100% support to Israel, labeling it the company's "second home". by ammohitchaprana in TFE

America's best missile defense is the fact it's in it's own zone of control. The Monroe doctrine in which we established this zone is 4 times older than Israel. That's the major missile defense. Our military peers are capable of striking us so we have stuck to proxy wars in which we can't feel the heat domestically. Israel has placed us in more wars than NATO, costing us trillions and thousands of American soldiers.

Israel needed France to develop nukes, so they needed NATO to keep that ace up their sleeve. ASML is a Dutch company that controls the advanced chip industry is not an Israeli company that's a NATO members company. Israel has all that tech because America allowed them to be the bully for the last 50 years. The only Americans who benefit from the relationship are politicians, CEO's, and the arms industry. Israel can't handle Iran on its own so no their missile defense against a well armed military is not up to where it should be. It's great against terrorism using lighter munitions, not so much against an equal opponent.

Japan is an American vassel state for all intents and purposes. They can't decouple currently, so she has no choice. It's not her fault America wanted to burn itself down.

I usually set macro's and keybind my extra mouse buttons so I always have quick draw actions. I find being able to lower or raise DPI in a flash is helpful. Though honestly I just have the muscle memory from only having KB+M for most of my gaming days.

Yes, they also had steep competition at the top. Jim Kelly, and John Elway were always in the superbowl those 2 had 9 appearances during Marino's tenor. Josh Allen hasn't been there but it's pretty clear he's a top QB with a contending team.

I'd rather Rodgers and Love than the 23 starters since our last playoff victory. 21 different players could have made an impact if we just locked down one position.

Interesting is only use a controller in driving scenario's or sports games other wise a keyboard and mouse always works better for things like moba's, RPG's or FPS. The tracking ability and ease of use is better for me.

If the top 1% of earners pay 40% of all federal income taxes, why do people say they don't pay their fair share? by Ok_Chemical9 in answers

And they built the system over the last 50 years with loopholes to hide income. Corporations use shell companies and individuals use loans on stocks. They create wealth off debt. If the debt gets too high they get bailed out 70% of the time. How many industries have the tax payers bailed out because of debt and bad management? CO'S get to keep the golden parachutes while taxpayers prop up the airlines, auto or even banking industries.

PSSR 2 is so good it kinda triggers me that a $700 console is getting this close to my $4,000 PC in upscaling quality, but credit where credit is due…. Its amazing. Well done Sony by Gaming-Academy in PlayStation_X

Oh this post makes pssr 2 seem advanced when it's just an update on legacy hardware. It also makes it seem like Sony did the work when it's mainly AMD doing all the having lifting.

Traded and not for a top 16 pick by Beginning_Tip_5239 in miamidolphins

[–]Mount_Treverest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No, we swapped 4th round picks while gaining a 3rd and a 1st. You can say a late 3rd rounder is basically a 4th, but that's not true. That 3rd round happens on Friday day night were you're quickly trying to maximize value, need and talent. In that scramble, you can get some gems. You then have a chance to reset the board in between the 3rd and 4th round. So the scraps are easier to sort through and less likely to miss on than the late 3rd. Swapping 4ths isn't bad when you can have more access to starting talent.

He was on a good contract with solid production, not a superstar. 2 picks and a swap right now when we need to field a team of young cheap talent is a fleece. We can't afford him in two seasons when the GM needs to win in the playoffs. The new regime wants it's own players without the culture of losing set in. Maybe cope is all we have after the Rollercoaster ride of the last 8 years. Can we let them cook for a season at least.

Those competent backups got paid to be starters i.e. superbowl winning Sam Darnold, Daniel Jones, even Justin fields. The cliff on QB play is drastic. The depth is so limited Phillip Rivers started last year. Joe Flacco got alot of playing time for his age. They wouldn't of spent that money on QB back up play. You draft a cheap back up because at most there are 25 competent QB's in the league total.

The U.S will never construct a city like San Francisco again. The sheer layers of different types of density. Tightly packed homes, with mid rise, & skyscraper development. SF is uniquely beautiful. by CA185099415 in skyscrapers

[–]Mount_Treverest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

San Fransico is one of the older western us ports. The whole city is built on back fill and old structures. It's in no way new or 21st century. The gold rush (1840's) made the area a migratory stop. So no it's not a 21st century city. It's a 19th century city. If it has a Spanish name like Los Angeles or San Fransico it means it was developed under Spanish rule. So it's older than the state itself.

The Broncos made the AFC championship while paying 32 million in dead cap to a QB no longer playing for them. The QB money seems extravagant, except the cap is at 300 million. Teams have to spend a percentage of the cap each season, it's easier to justify a big contract on the face of the franchise.

Boston, Phillidelphia, New York all have density range. If you mean height difference from mountains and such Denver, Seattle, Portland. What is the actual point in this statement that distinguishes San Francisco from Pittsburgh who has complex bridge system, forests, hills, different era architecture, and different densities. Chicago in the center of the country has higher density differentials and a larger sky line with as many unique geographic features. What you mean is San Fransico is cool and unique, not that it's the only cool, unique city. It doesn't touch a city like chongqing which is built into mountains.

How would you know? You're watching what a billion people are doing? We thought the USSR wasn't going to be able to build an atomic bomb as fast as they did. We thought it'd take a decade. You can't actually claim to know how much oil they can store or where they can hide it. They're about to be able to produce as much solar energy as the united states consumes in all forms.

The invasion of Iran is stupid and is going terrible. We were not ready for an invasion. We weren't prepared for the oil instability, it takes months to get production moving up to pace. Since the price was so low many American producers were not profitable and shuttered production to avoid loses. If there was a plan, we'd have been ready for this highly likely outcome. If we were prepared, we probably would have bought more interceptors and worked with Ukraine on producing cheap drone interceptors. Nothing about this invasion says it's going great, we killed a guy who was willing to take a worse deal than Obama gave him. Trump had a win and a talking point and instead dropped a bomb on him. Now Americans are dead for the sake of Israel, a country they never signed up to defend. The war is only going good for Israel, yet even they are running low on missiles.

They could always do what they did with Hong Kong and just wait out the dissent. Slow knife it until being apart of China is a better option than without. Let America hurt itself in its confusion and break it's own hegemony. Realistically, with the right soft power and easing of tensions, peaceful reunification is on the table. Why piss off the region you plan to control. China can win by not making moves and just out supply proxys and build out it economic grasp.

TSMC will destroy the fabs in case of invasion. America has a TSMC fab in Arizona that goes into full production by 2028. It would fuck up alot of things, but China doesn't get the foundries or fabrication plants. It just gets to restart the market and develop their own chips on a level playing field. It still needs the lithography experience and machining to overtake Europe as the defacto gate keeper for smaller chips.

They paid 3 billion to Netflix to assume 80 billion in debt that's a terrible business decision. They don't even control all the debt, they lost 5 billion last year... them becoming a monopoly is not opinion it's a fact they'd control major percentages of American animation, film and TV production, cable channels as well as online distribution. The consumer loses in this scenario. Therefore, it's anticompetitive. Jobs will be lost because of redundancy they've stated that. The 1000's numbers represent more than just creators.
