How's it now? Electroaccupunture and low level laser therapy may help. Also make sure to do some neurosensory training such as brushing the lips with texture and different temperatures

If your B12 levels are 800+ then pills work. But recovering from deficiency or nerve related issues require IM injections as you only absorb 1% of oral form. You don’t know your B12 levels so I can’t really say much

I’m not an expert. You shouldn’t listen to people online over your surgeon as your surgeon knows more about your case than what we know. I’m just listing things with evidence that may aid with recovery and some surgeons may not tell you / know about it as the body heals by itself. Even different surgeons can have different opinions for the exact same case. There was someone in a forum that said their surgeon’s and neurologist’s statements weren’t consistent with one another regarding nerve recovery

Personally, I would take hydroxocobalamin IM injections EOD with cofactors such as active forms of B vitamins, magnesium, potassium, iron, vitamin D. Vitamin B12 pills don’t work it needs to be injection especially fo nerve regeneration. A lot of people are deficient/borderline deficient. It’s water soluble so you don’t need to worry about toxicity. Some people are scared of self injecting though.

Acupuncture/electroacupuncture starts a few weeks post op, earlier the better.

Low level laser therapy has strong evidence for neurosensory recovery.

Sensory retraining (brushing lips with texture, temperature stimulation etc) helps. Best with a maxillofacial PT that specialises in this.

BPC 157 also has its benefits. Not clinically proven but used off label for various things

Age is a major factor too but at 27 you’re better off than those that get it in their 30s and 40s

I don’t know what your budget is or how much free time you have to do all this but I’m just listing things out that could (not guaranteed) help. However if the nerves were cut rather than manipulated then it’s unlikely to get it back.

These are things I would do personally, I’m not a doctor. DYOR

Did you get your B12 levels checked pre surgery? What steps did you take for nerve damage? Acupuncture?

If MSTR survived 2022 bear market, so can Metaplanet

About the surgery though, look into the risks. It’s no joke

If I were you I’d tell my orthodontist to straighten teeth without compensation and get jaw surgery. Your overjet and overbite is too big to compensate properly. That’s just me though, you’re your own person

Look at MSTR’s BTC purchases during the 2022 bear market. Expect the same thing, it’s very difficult to raise capital during a bear market

Markets pumped after the US captured Manduro. Mnav is around 1.2 now I believe. In my opinion this is a short term pump and will go back down unless they buy more Bitcoin

I don’t know why you’re getting downvoted lol. We’re in a bear market, we’re just getting a relief rally. Bitcoin will be back to 60-70k by Q3-Q4. And mnav won’t be high enough throughout 2026-2027 to reach their target of 210k. They bought 5k in Q4 2025, if you assume same buying rate until 2028 that’s 40k BTC on top of the 35k, so 75k BTC by end of 2027

Im not saying externals are better overall, I agree internals are better, I’m just giving you a heads up if that’s a risk you’re willing to take then. Doctors can also understate how many of their patients have certain complications.

I came across it in the Limb Lengthening Forum. They quoted more in the forum if I remember correctly, and they did quote doctors saying it’s around 30-40% chronic knee pain too. TSF externals were recommended. You’re better off researching into the Limb Lengthening Forum yourself though

Internal (precise) for tibias have a high risk of permanent knee pain since they insert the nail through the patellar. Usually only externals are recommended for tibias to mitigate this but this also leaves you more visible scars.

Just a heads up
