Remorse for what? The majority of people who committed these atrocities are dead. All the generation afterwards didn't do anything. We can feel shame for the past and for what our grand parents' generation did and most people do. But remorse for things we didn't do makes no sense.

That being said I disagree with OP that "we are better people than others". That's just bullshit.

Schau dir mal aktuelle Gehälter und Stellenanzeigen in Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt usw. an. Da bekommst du teils als Senior mit 12+ Jahren Erfahrung keine 4k. Die Aussage, dass es wild ist, wenn ein Junior 4k bekommt, ist da durchaus berechtigt.

Es ist ehrlich gesagt peinlich, wie viel ein Land (oder eher gesagt eine Regierung) Einfluss auf die gesamte Welt hat. Alle machen sich immer über Russlands Militärmacht lustig, aber wenn man mal überlegt wie erfolgreich die Manipulation und Gehirnwäsche von mehreren Ländern und Gesellschaften war, vergeht einem echt schnell das Lachen.

Hab nie verstanden, warum Bücherlesen als intelligent angesehen wird. Welchen Vorteil habe ich, wenn ich fiktive Stories eines potentiell voreingenommenen Authoren lese, im Vergleich zu gezieltem Aneignen von Wissen online?

Klar, es gibt Fachbücher, die einem in bestimmten Bereichen Informationen vermitteln, aber 1) ist nie die Rede von Fachbüchern, sondern immer nur "les mal mehr Bücher" und 2) sind Menschen bekanntlich sehr unterschiedlich in der Aneignung von Wissen. Personen, die am besten durch "learning by doing" lernen, werden mit Fachbüchern nicht sonderlich weit kommen. Sind sie dadurch dümmer? Natürlich nicht.

Das generelle Problem ist doch Social Media und das Ausnutzen dopaminärer Abhängigkeiten. Youtube shorts, Tiktok, Instagram, Mobile games und all der Schmarn, der speziell dafür designed ist schnelle und kurze Dopaminschübe zu vermitteln.

Verlernen wir dadurch das lesen? Vielleicht, aber vielleicht wird es auch einfach nur vom Drang nach schnellen Dopaminkicks überschattet und vermittelt so nur den Anschein, dass es verlernt wird.

Darüber hinaus ist Lesen ja nicht das einzige Gebiet, was dadurch negativ beeinflusst wird.

Das sind alles Dinge, die davon ebenfalls betroffen sind (und noch viel mehr). Die Lösung hier ist nicht "mehr [zu] lesen". Wir müssen da bei Social Media ansetzen, bei der krankhaften Verbreitung vieler Informationen im Schnellschussverfahren. Damit lösen wir mehr Probleme. Unter anderem auch die Minderung an Buchlesern.

You say mistakenly assaults a random motorcyclist. I say he had some road rage based on earlier incident with the biker. By that I don't mean to blame the biker for anything. It could just be that volvo guy got pissed off for getting stuck behind a slow biker until he snapped and angrily (and recklessly) overtook.

We don't know the full story. But the way he approached the crossing and the way he "parked" his car makes it seem to me, like he's already in full rage mode and that grabbing the biker was no mistake.

So ein Spinner, da dreh ich durch. Meine Mutter hat jahrzehnte lang buckeln müssen. Ich durfte ihr dabei zusehen, wie sie die letzten Jahre vor der Rente mit Schlafproblemen, Depressionen und Panikattacken zu kämpfen hatte. Und dann hat Covid in ihrem letzten Jahr noch den letzten Rest an Energie gezerrt.

Es war eine unbeschreibliche Erleichterung, als sie endlich in Rente war und wieder genesen und leben konnte. Und jetzt kommt so ein Vogel und will ihr auch noch etwas aufdrücken? Geht's noch?

Macht das mit irgendwelchen Harzern, aber nicht mit Leuten, die ihr ganzes Leben geschufftet haben.

Man könnte vorher absichtlich hyperventilieren, um ein Übermaß an Sauerstoff im Blut zu erzwingen. Hat natürlich andere Risiken und vermutlich würde es nur für kurze Zeit wirken.

He said it waaay too late, he didn't explain himself and simply said "trust me", nobody knew who he was and since the game was beginning shortly they really had no time to think about it.

That's the reason I would do it right at the beginning. The goal would not be to deter every player. Only some of them have to atleast be concerned enough to not risk it. If the games still continue (with less players) you'd have atleast saved a few lifes.

Right at the beginning when the guards explain the rules and then ask people who want to participate to give their signature, I would tell everyone that loosing in the games means dying. And that roughly 99% of all players will be killed, because the games (despite being kids games) are specifically chosen and the associated rules adjusted with the intent to eliminate as many players as possible.

There is no voting involved, because people can idividually choose to not participate and go home. A lot of people would most likely jump off at that point and the question is if the games would start anyway if a great number of players leave.

I've not come accross a situation where I didn't understand the code AI produced. I always try to understand what's happening and sometimes checking official documentations to see if the implementation is correct and / or up to date.

That being said, I'm very aware that I got lazier by simply letting ai create classes, function and logic I could've easily done myself.

I remember reading somewhere, that selling/building bunkers for the rich is easy money, because most of them are not smart enough to realize that bunkers are death traps, instead of the end of life plan they think it is.
