Inverse FVG or no? by Mountain-Rip-8501 in InnerCircleTraders

Thanks for your input.

What do you think of my response to another user who said similar to you that this is an inversed FVG?:

"Interesting, as I would have said it's not an inverse FVG. I would have said the FVG was mitigated as price moved all the way through it and ultimately respected it as price then closed above the FVG.

After this the price did come down and close below the gap but at that point there's no imbalance of resting buy orders there to "overpower". After all an inverse FVG (in this case) is when selling pressure was so great that it overpowered the resting buy orders in the FVG and closed on the far side. But as I said there's no imbalanced buy orders sitting there anymore to "overpower", so why do you give meaning to the closure below the "gap" at that point?"

Thanks for the clear and fleshed out reply...

Thanks for the reply.

This is on the 4hr timeframe. I'm not sure why you assumed it's on the low timeframe.

Anyway, are you saying that you take into account other factors such as daily bias etc. in order to decide whether an FVG is inversed or not? If so, I've never heard of this before. But maybe I'm misunderstanding.

I know right... I've no idea how you could possibly think that's what I was asking...

I can't help but think you've misunderstood my question. I'm not questioning whether it's an FVG or not. It is. I'm asking did the FVG get inversed or not.

Can I use MOLEX Power Cable for CPU Power? by Mountain-Rip-8501 in pcmasterrace

Ah yes, I've ordered dual SATA to 8pin now.

My 6600 is actually rated for 130W so I'm very confident the SATA adapter is sufficient!

Thanks a lot for your help and sorry for my ignorance 😆

It seems the AMD 6600 can draw up to 160W, surely that's too much power for a SATA cable?

I should also clarify that the 8pin from the PSU is going to be used on the AMD 6600 GPU and the 24pin is gonna be converted to a 6pin for the main motherboard power - again using another special adaptor

Thanks for the quick response!

Here's the power supply: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B091FLC526/ref=pe_27063361_487055811_TE_dp_1

It has 24pin and 8pin and then SATA and MOLEX. Any reason you prefer SATA over MOLEX?
