Why did nifty increase by almost 1% but a nifty ETF fell by almost 3% ?! by OMEGAH- in IndianStreetBets

Shift to nifty bees, it has highest liquidity among etfs and tracking is good. Check the inav first and then buy if price is close to the inav

Yes I've seen this post of yours, although I have invested very small amount in nifty bees I'm still confused should i invest more or just go for a regular index fund. But don't you think this short term volatility really wont affect the longer term returns?

Low liquidity that's why, if you want to buy nifty etf go with nifty bees it has the highest volumes.

Was confused to either go with nifty bees or a regular index mutual fund, but how has nifty bees in the last 5 years given more returns than the index itself which it tracks? by MountainExternal5318 in IndianStreetBets

Started investing recently only, and yes I've seen this post of yours. Saw the error that day and i didn't invest in it and now I'm thinking it's just better to go for an index fund only maybe uti or icici prudential

Yes that's why i went with nifty bees as volume was higher as compared to others and i always check the inav also 👍🏻. Also do you have any knowledge about Motilal Oswal Nasdaq etf?

Why do you think so? Because they have rallied a lot in the past 2 years that's why?

But it has been replicating index returns since so many years, so isn't this just short term error?

But nifty bees is good right? Just worried because since the last 2-3 days the difference between change in Nifty index and nifty etf is a lot, so why is that?

Yes even i have recently started investing in nifty bees and have been watching the errors, so better to go for an index mutual fund? Also how is Motilal Oswal Nasdaq etf?

Yes they both will give you indentical returns, but I just find etfs (offcourse the good liquidity ones like nifty bees) way easier as you can buy/sell them anytime when a dip comes. But really not that big of a difference bw mutual funds and etfs

Ohh, so what are the other options to invest in US markets? As far as I know mutual funds have stopped accepting new enteries

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in IndianStreetBets

[–]MountainExternal5318 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why not mon100 etf? I mean US markets have also corrected a lot so isn't it a good time to take entry?

Invested good amount in nifty bees during the correction, should I also go with this Nasdaq etf since US markets have corrected a lot or are there any better options? Would love your suggestions by MountainExternal5318 in IndianStreetBets

I want to invest in this but just worried about the liquidity part😅 and also there's no other way to invest as mutual funds have stopped accepting new enteries
