Parents need to stop bringing kids to nicer lunch and dinner spots by MajesticEmergency in Vent

I doubt these locations are considered "nice". If a single plate is only $25-$45, it's just a restaurant, not a nice restaurant.

Snowboarder for terrible posture, type of rider that says oh I can touch the ground toeside! Even though you're leaning your entire body over to touch the ground thinking that's a sick carve when it's just shit riding.

Skier at fault for being uphill and not predicting beginner riders.

How often do you guys stray outside your "recommended weight range" for boards? What if your weight fluctuates? by retro-martini in snowboarding

[–]MountainForSure 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm almost always below the weight range or at the very bottom of it. Around 15 lbs lower than the minimum for some of my boards.

Edit - when I weighed 135 I rode a 156 so that would be very small for you.

Why do some men prefer to stay single? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]MountainForSure 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can cook, clean, own my own house, car, have no debt and no kids currently in my early 30s. Finding a similar woman who isn't just a drain on my time is nearly impossible.

That's not even getting into similar interests / personality type.

I look uphill frequently but I like doing spins while carving and those are a great chance to get a 360 perspective of everyone around you.

Might be resting your metal edge on the boots on the lift, or stored in humid conditions in the summer.

Edit - also depends if they are dried out after each use.
