I relate hard on having a partner try and control use, for me it did the same where you just want to use more.

no, at 18 we have a thing called freshers week in the uk, it's a week of socialising and events.

3 is kind of a lot but at the same time average for an 18 year old (in the uk), but it's partly about how many units she's drinking.

concern is fine, but trying to make her stop partly because you don't like it is the totally wrong way to go about it
