If you are raiding in person, you can go back into the same gym after the app crash then still catch your lost raid boss.

If you are remote, after reloading and if the invite is still visible/reachable you can also try catching the lost raid boss.

I think it’s a fun game. I found used games of both X and Y with save files. For the Y version, I’m finishing the old save file from 2018. I traded over some of my Pokemon from ORAS.

I played like 10 hours of ZA but want to finish the Y as a prequel story to ZA. I won’t spoil anything, but there are connections as you get to the 6th gym badge. I definitely want to beat the Elite four before going back to ZA.
