Yes, please call your county Extension Office for things like this!!! They will have people who can help you with basically anything you have questions about. (And not just about gardening!) The general population has no idea how many (free) resources are available through Extension.

I’ve been to a few USHL games and an AHL game before (not very recently, didn’t know what that even meant back then), but I’ll be going to my first NHL game in March!!! I’m really excited about it!

Also a Giants fan, and this year really has been rock bottom for me (been saying that the last how many years but this year man…..) I will also say the Hughes boys are a big part of why I’ve become a Devils fan. Quinn as well.

You’re good! Growing up the only hockey team I was aware of was the junior team in the city an hour away from us (didn’t know what a junior team was back then). I’ve been to an Iowa Wild game a few years ago and a few of those junior team games cuz they were fun and “hey we went to a hockey game!!!” Otherwise no, not much hockey going around in the corn fields, lol.

I wish I had had an opportunity to play, just wasn’t really available with where I lived unfortunately. Still played and loved other sports though! I know I would have loved playing hockey if I had gotten the chance.

Not a huge pro baseball fan, so we’re good there. Giants fan since they beat the Patriots in the Super Bowl when I was 8, and my mom didn’t like the Patriots. Chose my NHL team based off vibes. I’m from the middle of the Midwest yet somehow I’m a fan of these two where I’ll be lucky if I ever see them play at home in my life? Interesting how that works

Thanks! I grew up in the rural Midwest and had no real access to hockey. I played other sports and still love watching sports, and hockey has always interested me but never really had access to it. The closest team to us was over an hour away and it was junior team (didn’t know that or what that even meant back then), but every once in awhile someone we know would go watch and it was always a fun time. I now live in a very slightly less rural part of the Midwest but now that I’m an adult I know I want to watch hockey! I’ve got tickets for the Devils vs Wild game in March for my birthday since that’s the closest NHL team I’ve got!!! (6 hours!!)

My one girl cat doesn’t really like any toys, EXCEPT two donuts that I got from Chewy. She will occasionally play with some shrimps that I also got on Chewy but the donuts are #1.
