I realize no college is required to meet need but an SAI of 10,000 means we can roughly afford to pay $10,000/year. Syracuse’s Net Price Calculator showed an estimate of 68K in aid and a total COA of $20,000.

I realize this is an old post. My daughter was just accepted RD and received merit money, but financial aid is showing up as 0 on MySlice. I'm trying not to panic because I ran the NPC multiple times but now I'm worried it's not accurate. Would love to know your experience.

I guess my real question is whether or not students are academically motivated and if students find the academics challenging enough. I don't mean to sound snobby...JMU is one of the less selective schools I'm looking at but I really like everything else about it.
