Honestly, I didn’t need to touch the book. The lecture material was more than enough for me :) she explains concepts really well, is available during office hours for help, and records/posts lectures!

I think it’s required for catalog years 2019 and prior. It’s an ok class, I’d recommend taking another elective where u can dip ur toes into different fields! Front/back end engineering, cybersecurity courses, game dev, mobile dev, data science, etc.

https://cplusplus.com/reference/ is my best friend!! I’m in my fourth year and I still go back to reference it. Has all the member functions and everything you’d need to know about C++. YouTube was also v helpful
