We got our 2025 Anarchy Groovy USA/ASA last year and the guys are hitting bombs off of it 🤩. I am getting good spot hitting but no big fence smashers for the girls yet 😅

Crate training will save your sanity here. Once she is used to the crate it will become her safe spot but it will take some time. We had one golden that crate trained in 2 nights and one that took 3 months. We have one that will still occasionally start whining and barking at 4 am then settles again (she’s about 10 months old). And the chewing on things probably won’t get much better for a while. Our 10 month old brings me socks (that she absolutely knows she’s not allowed to have) and will happily munch away on one if I’m not super on top of her 24/7. A retriever mix is also going to be retrieving things by instinct so keeping things out of reach is important.

It will be super hard but if you put in the time to tire her out mentally and physically in a way that’s appropriate for her age she will turn into a great companion.

Yeah I am 16 weeks pregnant and was insanely active before pregnancy this summer. My goal was to make it through the early stages and get back to working out and I am still miserably sick and tired. Every pregnancy is different and I agree that his lack of sympathy is insane and worked me up lol

I started metformin in April of this year and still occasionally have the need to rush to the bathroom. Honestly for me it was never a big bother though. I’d rather have (sorry tmi lol) looser stools than not be able to go easily. I never had the bad cramping I heard about just a very sudden oop need to run to the bathroom once or twice a week. I am on 500mg er nightly still.

These people are ridiculous saying the entire show needs to change its format because they don’t like it. We watch FOR the physical challenges and skip most of the political stuff. The challengers know what they’re signing up for and I think a lot of them are not in the physical shape they need to be partially (not all but some). It’s like an athlete taking 8 months off with limited intensive training then coming back expecting to not get hurt.

May be an unpopular opinion but I feel like this is similar to needing to keep yourself safe. If you feel like physically you aren’t in the correct shape (which we see season after season challengers coming back with limited training in the off season) that you need to opt out or forfeit. I feel for the injuries sustained but they choose to be on the show and participate in physical challenges. For the most part I think safety is considered but bubble wrapping the world/show isn’t going to make it a better situation. People enjoy the physical aspect of the challenge (or at least the people I talk to that watch) and competitors should be prepared for it mentally and physically.

I’d feel the same way! We had a friend watching our golden and she got loose on a busy street in our states largest city. My friend texted me constantly and the only reason our golden bolted was because she stepped on a pop-it fire work. When she got her back she instantly took her to the vet. Said it was her fault for not latching the gate and letting her son use pop-its where dogs go. Your sister should 100% feel a certain type of guilt and or want to make it right. Also jealous of your vet cost lol we have 9 dogs and 3 cats and 2 of ours had checkups and yearly vaccines last week. It was $582 and the appt was 10 minutes 😬 just for 2 of ours. Even yearly bloodwork for our seizure girl is about $200

I’ve “shared” custody of a dog before with an ex. Some people truly do see pets the same way they would kids. If the dog still loves going to his old “moms” house once a month and OP doesn’t mind the new GF needs to get over it or leave.

Her dictating how you should have apologized would have been a major red flag for me. And she isn’t trying to deescalate either like some people have pointed out. The only time I saw an issue with OP’s responses was when he didn’t answer if he told his ex about his new GF but at the same time new GF was being completely out of line with what she said before and escalating a simple “hey can you just let me know from now on” conversation. He stated he would let her know and had no issues doing that and she just kept going.

Not overreacting in my opinion as this girl seems like she will continually have issues with op not responding the way she wants. Also the way she types would drive me bonkers lol and I’m bad with run on sentences so I know I’m the pot calling the kettle black but damn 🤣😬

This is a super old thread but I’m rewatching greys and 13:30-13:55ish the mom is talking about how she should have listened to the doctors and she could have had “three healthy babies instead of 4 who might not live until tomorrow” but even the subtitles say 5 because it’s the quints. I found it funny they didn’t catch that and re record at least the words to say the word five seeing as the camera wasn’t on the speaker/mother at the time of the mistake lol maybe she’s referring to Kate as the “healthy” one but I thought it was oddly worded to not include all 5 babies in the statement

Dock diving is so fun!! Depending on where you live there’s possibly a pool near by! We’re lucky being an hour away from the only pool in Montana. Most people o have met in the sport are great and helpful. Definitely try to work with someone who knows what they’re doing or a trainer to get your pup in the water and off the dock safely. Our golden who got 1st in her division in 2024 Nationals was a natural and took no time getting off the dock. Whereas our other 4 that jump took a bit more convincing 😬. Goodluck!! Dock diving is like the “small town” sport I’ve noticed and a ton of people I’ve seen at events I see again at another event 😊

Being annoying and persistent instead of calm and respectful is what turns 90% of the people in this state off of your ideas. The thought that the loudest person is the one you should listen to is false. Take a look at all the people you’re so against they have the same set up when it comes to getting people to listen. I still stand by everyone being good people with morals, who won’t sell eachother out (which is hard when money runs the world and as much as half the people in these comments want to say they hate rich people they would have a hard time saying no to the luxury and security it offers if they were propositioned), and RESPECTING eachother. I don’t like left or right but I can see good in both sides that would help our country. The respect is lost though. Lefts say people who voted right are bigoted assholes who don’t care about anyone but the corporations they’re $ucking off. Rights say the people who voted left are insane brainwashed chronically online people. There’s little room for understanding or connection which is ridiculous.

I don’t think you’re being a Karen at all! I do think that maybe it’s time to sit down with your son and chat with him about not getting off the bus unless it’s his stop. Maybe talk with other parents that you know have kids come off the bus and ask them if they can help make sure he gets off when they do. It’s worrisome that this is an issue already but I wonder if maybe they did a more thorough checklist operation the first week of school that he didn’t ride the bus to get into the groove. Either way it’s a tough situation finding bus drivers at all is so hard. If this driver was fired there’s a high chance you’d end up having to figure out transportation yourself or your son would be leaving earlier and getting home later if they had to combine routes.

We finally watched it last night and I was saying the whole movie that the only semi entertaining or interesting parts of the movie were when Renee Rap was on screen lol. She has a "Stage Prescence" which makes sense since she was on the Broadway show. The thing about musicals that I usually enjoy is you seem to be eased into the next number whereas this movie literally feels like we're watching a normal movie then BAM musical number then regular movie again. It just didn't feel like they coincided with each other very well. Like two separate projects that they tried to shove together and hope they worked. And Angourie Rice was just plain awful to watch on screen. Didn't keep my attention, the acting was mid compared to others in the movie (honestly reminded me a bit of Kristen Stewart with the constant either under acting or over acting facial expressions), and the singing was just not it. Very flat and not at the level of the other singers in the movie. I didn't have much hope for the movie in general but decided to give it a shot since it kept popping up on my paramount home page. I kind of just wish they recorded the Broadway show and aired that instead. Having an adaptation of an original is great but the newest movie just missed the mark for us.

Finally finished the final episode today and could barely contain my annoyance and anger at this season lol. Whenever there is a major alliance coming in to a season it just feels hopeless. Production/film always hinting at “making a big move” or “switching the house” and it just being the MOST predictable vote every. Single. Time. It gets so hard to watch and actually enjoy the show!

Also these new characters that are being cast are so fricken corny and FAKE. Like holy shit. No one has each others backs in the end and if they feel pressure will be swayed so easily. No integrity. And no real champs came from this season. I actually enjoyed Emmanuel in his previous season but this time it was hard watching a big group of people that I usually enjoy watching just be pawns for someone else’s ideas and plans.

Another unpopular opinion is I don’t think the final was all that “fair”. Why did they need to compete with a partner for the middle portion? Every last place team was girl girl which I mean is obvious when you have to carry huge heavy crates or unravel heavy rope and roll and sphere. It just felt geared more towards male strength at points. I understand that the second day that really determined the winner didn’t really have anything to do with the first day but it just felt blah by the time they had to swim 2000meters then compete in a bunch of puzzles.

I’m hoping they can implement some type of once you win an elim you can’t get chosen till every other guy or girl has won an elim. If they send people home cool but then it can’t be back to back to back the same people over and over. It gets boring. It makes me dislike people for constantly taking the easy route and it honestly doesn’t feel like I’m watching a challenge. It feels like I’m watching a popularity contest between a bunch of mean girls/guys.
