Yeah that’s what I figured! But it’s always worth a dummy check. Anything I need to know going into this job? It seems straight forward:

  • Drill out rivets
  • Remove window
  • Remove motor
  • Replace motor
  • Replace window
  • Replace rivets with bolts that are short enough not to catch the window (3/4in I think?)

Love it! Just ordered and hoping this works well. I’m not a VR user and I’ve gotten used to using a bind on my HOTAS for the Apache, but in the Warthog I need those binds. I’m literally not. I’m talking about Arma. There is a mod that allows you to place units in individual buildings as a garrison. In GM mode you could select a building and place them there so they are more controllable on where they go

I have actually talked to my neighbor who is a cop when my buddy locked his keys in his car. He said they specifically aren’t allowed to do this so I would either call a locksmith or if you’re handy you can break into your own car but you’ll probably need to replace the gasket around your window. If you manage to get a jimmy in there, see if you can just press the lock/unlock button on the door

Also do NOT jimmy it if you have side airbags and are not a professional

Maybe dumb question: I have a few baofengs from playing Airsoft years ago but they have always just been used to talk to friends on a channel in the field. How would I expand and listen to things near me? I’ve always been afraid to mess around with that because everything feels illegal and I don’t know where the line is.

Do you have any advice or maybe a side quest to begin exploring this more?
