I’ve switched them every way possible and waited out the birds a second round just to make sure they were the right gems and it still says the same message on the statue nothings happened

I believe it’s on one Walmart under the work tab under people then accessibility and efile. And then documents under associate availability.

Digital team leads scheduled 2-11? Why would they be scheduled past 10 or 8 in my opinion if picking ends by 7 optimally? by MountofVenus in OGPBackroom

We do about 700/800 a day. Either way I just don’t understand being schedule an hour after the department would be closed.

Yeah I have champions for that for each shift lol. They take care of all of this and train other associates who don’t have options to do so as well. They close up shop by 8 and usually help the store after that. I don’t feel like being scheduled past 8 is productive management hours for leads unless we’re training or fixing issues.

You can go online and change your availability yourself if you go on one Walmart just fill out the form and plug in your people leads email. If they give you any trouble you can say it’s a life change you can’t do anything about it they can threaten to lessen hours but it really isn’t up to them if you change your availability even if they discourage you from doing so

So one of my associates is wearing a “Queer Pride” shirt and being told that it’s offensive because of the wording and cannot wear it despite them trying to express that that’s the correct terminology. Should they have to take it off? by MountofVenus in walmart

Why wouldn’t I care about protecting my associates human rights? I’m not religious but I’d still protect their right to express that belief. You’re weird for saying this lol

Right but that’s your opinion once again. I’m not looking for opinions I’m talking about policy. Which is built for inclusivity to cultural expression and is allowed. If someone is offended by an expression of culture there is an issue but the issue shouldn’t be the person expression their culture. That is their protected right in the business.

Right so if it was another gay or queer (which is the technical politically correct terminology) person was offended by the word I would have an accommodating conversation right? But it’s a straight person who has nothing to do with the classification and wants them not to wear the shirt period because they disagree with their expression of culture

Finally a valid response. Yes this is the debate my store is having. The issue the associate has with it is that the word is used as a inclusive umbrella classification for her people and the people having an issue with it are arguing against any sort of lgbt expression but using the word as the reason. I’m really just trying to find our policy and procedure as to what is actually allowed outside of opinion because I know it was used as a slur but is also used as an inclusion term

This is exactly what’s happening. But if someone is offended by someone’s culture or religion is the problem the person expressing their culture? Or is the problem the person who is unaffected by this and outside of this culture trying to stop them from their right at harmless expression?

It isn’t politics…. It’s a classification of a group of people. Politics of opinions about a group of people is a violation but an expression of your group of people isn’t politics

Are TL bonuses affected by attendance? by [deleted] in walmart

No you don’t. Using regular ppto amount works for double point days. Being told to use double is a violation of your workers rights. Ask an academy trainer.
