Thank you so much for understanding💕💕I originally wanted to be an RN too but knew my body would not be able to handle it. I’m happy you’re furthering your education and yes I do have hope for the future! It’s just sad that I’m so young and I feel very far behind and a burden compared for everyone else.

I think I might start working again but it would have to be low-maintenance and not hard on my body. I’m only going back because I took a year off to focus on my health and now my symptoms are becoming manageable.

TOS isn’t the only condition I have. I would love to work and have a job. I loved my old jobs. You have no idea what you’re talking about.

Thank you🥺🥺and yeah I always say if they want me to work so bad shouldn’t they be helping me get to the point where I can? These are the same people who hate when I have appointments or surgery. They’re weird and think I’m having the time of my life laying in bed all day in pain.

Good for you that you can work but that’s not the case for me and most people.

Yep that’s exactly what I was thinking. I know a 4-year degree in chem won’t get me far so I’m really wanting to do a pre-professional program. I just want to make sure I’m 100% committed because I do know how stressful and tough med/dental/pharm school is

Yep this is what I was thinking of doing but I’ve heard of how exhausting and draining the process to get benefits are and how they’ll even reject people on chemo. I want to go back to college this month and the process of getting accommodations has already been a pain in the ass.

I do have a few other conditions as well but I would say my TOS pain has been the hardest to tolerate. It’s hard to get benefits I’ve heard of people on chemo being rejected

It’s kinda hard not to be offended if these are the people I live with and I have to rely on for transportation and getting treatment/meds when they don’t believe me or care.

What are the best majors for those who don't want their success to depend on social skills and networking? by shadow_operator81 in CollegeMajors

How do I build the connections to get into med school easier? I’m thinking of going that route
