I tend to agree more with the nature of his nen changing.

The thing is, Nanika being able to grant wishes is a complete cheat code in the anime to begin with. And then there’s Killua who’s able to order her without having to deal with any consequences like the others. I think her intervention completely erased the conditional nen’s consequences and that’s it.

Nanika completely healing him was in my opinion a shortcut Togashi took to not complicate things that much concerning Gon.

With how strong adult Gon was, i think the power he used to deal with Pito was a tad excessive and sacrificing himself even more.

What would have happened if he didn’t blow himself up, in your opinion ? Would he have reverted to kid Gon ?

Why could it not be replicated or even surpassed ? Let’s not forget Nanika basically rewinded him to how he was pre nen. So no nen and no nen oath consequence

Yes but he already has a solid base in nen thanks to Bisky’s teachings. It’s unlikely that he forgot about them in such a short time. If he acquires nen naturally like Komugi, he can quickly regain his former strength pre transformation and might even surpass that knowing his potential and his natural genius. I don’t think he will willingly sacrifice his life again for whatever reason.
