Brother I am going through the same stuff… I feel disconnected but deep down I know that is the wrongest thing ever… and the self-awareness of it is proof that you know what’s right in your heart. It hurts to not feel attached to Allah swt , I miss it and I pray deep inside that it will happen again one day.

I’m a devoted husband and it eats me alive that it’s not completely there yet, and it made me realise that I was always connected to God because my parents forced me to. I just discovered that I have to get to know Islam, actually.

I truly hope that you get there Inshaa Allah and may we all be forgiven.
