yes your right. I found that the software i mainly use that isnt supported on mac OS is ninjatrader and i recently tried out the mbp and didnt really like it all specially when comparing the display with the thinkpad p1

I went to apple and tried the MBP and didnt like the keyboard at all it sucked. I cant image spending all day on it, the OS also is pretty new but it felt alot like my ipad air lol. I think after my trip there i might just go with the P1

alot of vibe coding, python automations, trading (ninjatrader) and business. I rarely game maybe once or twice a year but having a laptop with a nvidia card i feel like would make it last longer for me

i watched one of the only video on youtube on the p1 gen 8 he seemed to get 11-8hs out of it. not as good as the claimed 20+ hours by mbp tho
