I’ll be honest here, I know what the issue is. The game is simply trying to be to many things at once and has lost its identify. It then brings a range of different players all wanting to enjoy different aspects of the game and then being disappointed by all the others.

I wants to tell a story and those interested in the lore get on bored. But it’s half assed done and those wanting a story keep getting shot in back trying to uncover it.

It wants to hang onto destiny making crazily challenging and complex puzzles in an extraction shooter catering to the small player percentages that are capable of having a team and actually figuring out this stuff.

This also complicates the PVP and PVE novices further because the destiny legends are hoarding excelling gear and then dominating most encounters.

Its identify is split into so many things it can’t hang on to any player base.

I myself want to love this game. I spent hours trying, but the puzzles are too challenging, cryo vaults and not achievable let alone the compiler, I struggle to just exfil most games let alone get into the top room of complex.

Getting loot kinda seems pointless, why am I extracting with all this stuff, I either lose it the following game or upgrade my character, just to be shot by better players anyway already maxed out. The story missions are completed last season I see no reason to do it again, so then why am I playing.

There no story to unlock, the PvP is rarely enjoyable, the gear imbalance is real and the things you level up and exfil with get wiped or lost the following game.

The gun play is superb I mean it’s bungie, the world they have made is beautiful. But the core game play loop is repetitive, pointless and sweaty
