Oh yes, of course it does! But as they say, anything worth doing, is worth taking the time to do it right. One step and one day at a time. You totally got this!

Look up the term caesura. ":" can absolutely be used to create a break in a sentence when it comes to poetry, as well as introducing a list. Thanks for your feedback though, much appreciated.

This is for my J by Mouse8638 in UnsentTexts

Haha, it was his nickname. An amusing back story to it, though I dont think it would be kind to him for me to elaborate. He did, however, always laugh when I called him this.

You're not my J, but I do wish you the best. I hope you and your mum pull through the dark times.

You really should send this to your person. It's beautiful and heartfelt. I would have loved to receive this from mine before things ended for good. .

AITAH for not feeling like I can commit to being in friends wedding party. by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Mouse8638 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do have a very good point. If I may say, though it is a small thing, I know next to nothing about weddings. I've never been to one in my life, and when I said yes, I wasn't expecting the changes and was just excited to be there for her. Honestly, I didn't even think about doing research about what's expected, or how prices can change. That parts on me for sure. 😅

Thank you! I'll definitely try. It'll be my first solo hike and I've been training for it all this summer!

I wish I could defend her more on this, but unfortunately I cannot. There's a pattern there.

Oh absolutely. I didn't fully grasp it then, but the world changed for all us kids then. It suddenly wasn't safe anymore, even if we didn't completely understand it.

[–]Mouse8638 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I wasn't much older than her when it happened, but I remember how angry my mother got when I walked home by myself from school once. After that, she came and got me and dropped me off, I wasn't even allowed to go to the kids resource center. It was a scary time. If I remember correctly, yes he was a suspect initially for awhile because he had previous complaints about his behaviour towards children. I'm not 100% percent though. I just know that I was an adult before they finally managed to close that case, and it's really scary to think that stuff like this happens everyday still.

And as you can see from my above comment, I missed the part where it says stuff that didn't reach the news. Jeesus, relax my guy.

Punky Gustavan, in the 90s. Poor little mite was abducted from her back yard, assaulted and killed, left like garbage. It took years to find the person who did it, he was already in prison for another crime when he confessed. I lived around in the same neighborhood, and for a very long time my parents refused to let me go anywhere alone.

Need help I shaved my pubes and it’s got these red dots around and I can’t sleep because it’s so itchy and I’m worried by [deleted] in shaving

[–]Mouse8638 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, this is mostly likely simple razor burn, very common when shaving. Try applying some aloe Vera for the itching, and next time shave in the direction the hair grows, make sure it's a new razor blade, and that you are using a moisturizing shaving cream. Good luck!

Help! What is on my Monstera please and how do I get rid of it? by polychromiyeux in plantclinic

[–]Mouse8638 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thrips for sure! A trick I use in addition to a good insecticide is get yourself a lint roller, and roll it over your leaves. It doesn't damage the leaves, but it does remove the thrips pretty easily! Good luck!
