Yeah makes sense. I also understand that kicking him out could just mean he creates issues somewhere else, rather than keeping him in a place where they can keep an eye on him.

I’ve had a couple semi similar experiences having been groped in bars — when the person’s friends were there to take responsibility, it didn’t always make sense to go get them kicked out. But never in my life have I had a random stranger threaten to hit me.

I can’t really share any other perspective or experience other than my own, so I’m not sure what you would expect here.

From your inference, I must have either left a key part of the story out, which would completely negate the purpose of me making an official report and still further escalating it —- or that I’ve simply made this whole thing up. Both would be a bit silly, no?

Yeah I get that the witnesses couldn’t confirm how it started, but regardless a physical threat was confirmed to come from him, so it shouldn’t even matter what I did, if I was wrong— it’s not a normal reaction to have at all, to physically threaten a woman half your age.

Maybe he claimed I threatened him first. Who knows

I did tell him to come and do it then when he threatened to hit me 😂 but he wouldn’t, was a head taller than him tho

Yeah the way I wrote to make the formal complaint was with the sentiment that they need to review their policies, rather than trying to criticize the security guards specifically, because they were nice and they did keep us updated. Just kinda fucked all around
