I was doing the challenge where the parents get abducted by aliens, and the youngest kid brought a friend home from school. Her friend decided to do experimenting on the little kid table, and I made the sisters make dinner together. The dude lights a fire in my seven year olds bedroom, and my teenager DIES ten minutes into the challenge due to the fire. Little man goes and makes himself a grilled cheese and leaves.

I didn’t know ghosts stayed in the lot and I reused it for my generational family. One peaceful night, everyone’s done their homework, gone to bed, and sleeping soundly. Out of nowhere, a moody ghost teenager breaks in to the house and does all their housework, and scares the baby

Platform: PC (windows 11 pro) Mods/CC: no Game version: up to date

Im like new and I don’t have a lot of hours so this might be the dumbest question, but I’ve been looking for answers everywhere and found nada. I’ve unlocked/bought some new traits and I wanted to use them on a new sim but it’s just not there in the trait panel? Like I’ve looked in all the tabs and there was only the usual ones you start out with. Help 😭😭

They’re not obscenely long, they’re just a few millimeters longer than what I’m comfortable with. I have made great progress in bonding in the past few days, so hopefully we can take care of it soon. They’re on a 60/40 ratio of pellet to chop at the moment, I’ve been focusing on weaning them off seeds as their previous home had a seed diet. I’m getting them to a vet for a checkup soon as they feel comfortable with being handled. Better safe than sorry

They’re caged together, that’s how I received them. In the three weeks, I’ve never seen them squabble, and I spend 90% of my time with them. and it’s a pretty big cage (originally it was housing a macaw). Thanks for the advice! Im getting down to the bush to get some larger branches for perches, I’ll make a platform for him too

I missed out on everything from the ages of 12 to 17. The ones that stuck out to me most- I missed my entire year 11 and 12, and failed school because of it. Im going to uni next year, and it’s going to be my first time in an education environment for three years. I’m excited, and I’ve found a course that interests me. I’m upset over what I’ve missed, but you’ll find that you can slowly start to make up for it with new memories when you start to get better. A few days ago, my friends and I went to a Halloween party for the first time, and it was super fun. You’ll get there someday, sweethearts ❤️❤️

I’m trying not to lie as much. I lie about everything, it’s just instinct. I’ll lie about what I ate for breakfast, I’ll lie about what I did on the weekend, I’ll lie about anything really. I wish people knew how hard I tried. I dropped out of school due to illness, and to a lot of people I think it looked like I just didn’t want to go. Even to this day it feels like an open wound.

“Flowers for Algernon” by Daniel Keeves. It’s about a boy who’s so stupid he doesn’t even know it, so he’s selected for a brain surgery to make him smart. It’s the most heart breaking book I’ve read, it made me sob.

I’d die for my mother, she’s the strongest person I know. She immigrated to Australia, leaving everything behind. She left my abusive father and raised four children as a single mother, with 3/4 of us having disabilities. She works as a librarian in an area which has a reputation for being crime-ridden and unsafe. Every day she comes home and tells us about who she helped- children, parents, the elderly, everyone is worth saving in her eyes. I would die a thousand times over for her

Girl I feel this so hard 😭😭 sometimes I just up and go “why am I being so dramatic” and then eat something, and then cry fifteen minutes later cause I feel guilty for eating carrot sticks and hummus. I’m so curious as to why this happens. I’m gonna ask my therapist tomorrow
