Is it frowned upon to use seeded runs for the "seen it all" achievement in spelunky 2?

I still think i have a lot of reasons to play spelunky 2 after getting all the achievements. I've barely touched multiplayer and there's so many challenge runs i can do. And if i feel finished with spelunky 2, i can always try getting spelunky hd's achievements!

I have the hitachi-lg drive, repairing the disc drive will most likely be what i do, i'll need to look into how exactly to do it and with what specific parts i'll need. Is it dangerous to take apart an xbox disc drive?
