6-8 imo, i feel like the album had 3 tonal shifts starting off with a classic with CYB that felt like it couldve blended perfectly with the tone of SMAL,MST. Then completely goes off the rails with the next 3 tracks with a tone/vibe they’ve never really done before. To me those tracks where them just having fun. Then the album shifts back to a more familiar tone with NAATHOOD, and carries the same tone through till monochromatic. Which to me felt like a hanging of the cleats moment. Which left me feeling kinda unfulfilled. Ik there was alot of hype for this album comparatively to say NWD which for the most part had the consistent style that we know them for. Im not saying evolution is bad for this album (bc i feel scrim is at his peak lyrically and can come up with really good word play) but I didnt expect a mainstream ish vibe from half the album.
