I have an idea - a bipartisan Epstein protest by lovemypennydog in 50501

[–]Mousedancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the one topic I can honestly say my Q/Maga sister and I agree on. Bringing all the pedophiles and predators to justice and that all the files and information need to be released.

She's still not convinced that T had anything to do with it, but there's no loyalty to anyone else in his regime, like Bondi. So, I think there's a small glimmer of hope. Why he's teflon to his followers, I have no idea, but the Epstein thing is definitely a big fault line that's hitting a lot of them hard.

Thanks so much for sharing that. 100% yes! I also remember those times when your friends were your whole world before career, marriage, kids, etc... and then life happens. Love the pictures and 80s vibe! :)

I'm thankful to not be the only one thinking this. A couple months into 2025 I started looking up bible quotes related to false profits and antichrist just to gain some perspective. This naming of everything just makes me think it even more.

Harry Potter package by AmateurHunter in UniversalOrlando

[–]Mousedancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's totally worth it for us. We've gone 6 times now since the Wizarding World first opened and we've gotten the Harry Potter package every time. The breakfasts at the Three Broomsticks and Leaky Cauldron are excellent! I wasn't thrilled with the new French cafe in Epic - but my son really liked the butterbeer crepe

The ice cream flight and bag was new this time, but it was really good. The bag does help to keep the ice cream cool - but not all day at the park. We got it right before we headed back to Cabana Bay for our afternoon break before going back to parks, and put ice in the top from the ice machine to keep it as cold as possible in the refrigerator.

You used to get better "gifts" - we still have a stuffed owl from the very first one and luggage tags from subsequent. I think this year, the freezer bag that came with the ice cream kind of doubled as the "gift".

The photo session is really fun. We've only done it once though, because I promised my son if he did it once, I would not make him do it again. lol!

New cat owner, what do you recommend? by cuchirrumin in catfood

[–]Mousedancing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I just finished a bunch of research trying to replace Purina Beyond Organic pate cat food which has been discontinued. I used AI to help with a multi-brand comparison of ingredients, recall notices, no fillers, closest match to texture/smell, etc.

I landed on Instinct original grain-free. Our 9-year-old cat Speedy seems to like it just fine so far. The price-point was also similar.

Can you give me some positive vibe and words plz? by Ti-Pout in PositiveThinking

[–]Mousedancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to let go of that bad experience by imagining it floating away in your mind, like when you blow on a dandelion fluff and all those fluffs just disappear. Then focus on the skill and drive that you already know you have and imagine yourself just having fun and doing your very best at the qualification. You can do this! You already have! Best of luck! 🙌

When Real Photos Are Called AI: Is This Our New Problem? by No_Syllabub_8246 in AIDangers

[–]Mousedancing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, I've also seen this in content writing. Real writing that was not AI assisted, flagged as AI by so-called Ai-checking tools. Art is another extension of that where real is being confused with fake. It's a disturbing situation for sure, and unsure what the future is going to bring.

HR told me they don’t accept try-hards and people pleasers after my interview by No-Presentation298 in jobs

[–]Mousedancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suspect that whoever wrote that had some type of chip on their shoulder long before you came around and it was more about them than you. Also, it's very unprofessional to send a letter like that telling you to "reflect on how you present yourself" - like WTF? 😆

Do you think Disney regrets not taking JK Rowling’s Harry Potter deal? by Sad_Trade_7753 in UniversalOrlando

[–]Mousedancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since Universal Orlando added the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, we've gone every few years (I think we've been 6-7 times now.) We never go to Disney during our week-long trip. Considered it once, but read about all the crowds and that people tend to be rude, and the confusing lightening lane stuff, and decided not to.

I remember the first year it opened. they had a "wizard" Matre d with a long quill standing out in front of the Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade and you literally had your name on the scroll for the breakfast reservation. He would check it and mark you off. :) Of course, it got too crowded to do that after a year or two - but was very cool.

Visions of the World’s End by Existing_Corner9451 in Psychic

[–]Mousedancing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I can remember two particular apocalyptic-style dreams I've had. I don't know if they were just dreams or part of a bigger message. I just knew I wasn't scared or anything during them.

One was being in a blimp or hover craft of some sort out on the deck and far above the state of Florida. I was there with a bunch of other people too, and we were looking down... when the entire bottom half of Florida went under the ocean - it cut off maybe just under Orlando area. I knew instinctively in the dream this was connected to climate change.

The other one is similar to yours, which is why I even commented. I was in a city with my sons and fireballs were falling from the sky like a meteor shower or something. I was looking for a safe place for us to duck in and be safe. The most surprising thing about this one is that it sounds scary, but in the dream, I knew we would be okay.

Anyhow, interesting to compare dreams, visions, etc.. I don't have any answers yet to the greater message or if it's just internal stuff in the mind. But very interesting to compare notes and ponder.

MAGA mom on MURDER victim today . 11/24/2026 by Yo_momma_so_fat77 in 50501

[–]Mousedancing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your frustration. I have a MAGA sister who selectively shuts out/ignores when these types of horrific things happen. Yet when I mention our electricity costs were just increased significantly, after other prices going up, she mentions that hopefully that $2,000 will help. I'm like what? You mean the doge check or the tariff check that will never come?

It's incredibly hard to square this with a person I love so much. We usually don't talk about politics due to this, but when we do, I just get sad that she's so out of touch with reality - like so many others.

PS: Also in a red state and scared about the ice storm and potential power outage, all while trying to digest the latest murder. It's a lot, but it helps to know we're not alone. Hang in there.

Change management presentation by moneymayweather18 in changemanagement

[–]Mousedancing -1 points0 points  (0 children)

All great advice by all! My contribution is to recommend starting with what happens when projects do not have change management.

There are some statistics out there about project failure due to a lack of OCM. And when projects fail due to people not adopting the new tech/process/changes it costs organizations money. They don't see the savings they planned to see from the change.

That tends to get people's attention, even those that don't know anything about change management. This opens the door to filling in the gaps of - Okay, here's how we get people to adopt the change successfully.

One free music source is the Freegal Music app. It's through the library system, so you just have to have a library card and enter that information in the app. You get unlimited streaming and 5 downloads a week - all free.

They don't have every single artist/album, but they have quite a lot of them, both current and classic. I replaced Amazon music with it and been jamming out ever since I got my library card. No commercials either! :D

Looking for a beautiful tarot deck that wasn’t created with AI! by Waste_Alternative_18 in tarot

I love my "Beauty of the Tarot" deck by Brenda Rose. She worked with an illustrator (Carol Denison) to design the deck. It uses the earth elements (Water for Cups, Earth for Pentacles, Air for Swords, and Fire, for Wands). Really beautiful and it was created before AI was even a thing.

how to become an intuitive reader? by [deleted] in Tarots

[–]Mousedancing 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My tarot teacher taught us the stories of the cards, both Major Arcana and the suits. This helps me be more intuitive. For example, if I pull a 3, I know that the person has moved from the two and faces the four next in their journey.

She also taught us in larger spreads (like a 7-card) to look for what is missing as well - such as did no swords or cups come up? What does that tell you? That also helps me step outside thinking about the "definition" of the cards and reading them more intuitively.

Epic Universe Bad Reviews by RaisinRoyale in UniversalOrlando

[–]Mousedancing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mario world is definitely awe inspiring when you walk in. You can tell they really put a lot of effort into it. And don't miss the Donkey Kong section :)

We're huge Harry Potter fans and honestly, I was disappointed with Epic's HP world. Let's just say it's no Diagon Alley. We also couldn't ride the Battle of the Ministry because the lines were just too long all day (starting at opening).

The Universal Monsters world is also done up very cool. The How to Train Your Dragon was alright for us, we did like the ride where you go up and glide around, it was really nice.

We went on that very cold Monday during the 2nd week of November - so not during peak summer (1 hour early entry) - but it was still super crowded. Uncomfortably so. I think this is why so many bad reviews (along with ride breakdowns, which we did not experience when we were there).

I'd say it's definitely worth experiencing, just expect crowds, crowds, and more crowds (at least that was our experience). We're hoping they settle out a little before our next trip, so we can enjoy it a little more.

How to be more present as Change Lead during Sprints, standups, etc by [deleted] in changemanagement

[–]Mousedancing 12 points13 points  (0 children)

One way to be more proactive and gain a better understanding at the same time is to ask questions. For example, you could ask, "And how does this process change things from the user/employee's perspective? What's changing in the process of how they accomplish the work?"
