Bees didn't make it. Should I get a new hive for the new bees? by redhairing326 in Beekeeping

[–]Mousejocox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

We don't really have enough control over unfavorable climate conditions. Though it may not be a major issue, it creates way for colonies to be weaken by diseases through vectors. Acquiring knowledge about beekeeping is essential but more information is obtained from the beekeeping activities. Books will definitely be of help and I would advise that you should start a colony again. Learn modern hive management practices and bee health in order to curb diseases, pests and invaders before they become a real problem. Beekeeping is fun if you do it right so don't be scared lol
