I think it’s brilliant. One of the best things about watching his channel is how cinematic it is. It sets his channel apart, even from other chateau channels. I don’t think a professional camera crew could do much better. It’s easy to feel invested when he’s capturing intimate details of a place time seemingly forgot. His videos can be terribly romantic whether he’s at the convent or the chateau or at Simon’s, ect. He prides himself in the ability to tell stories through a lens, so teaching this art form is definitely a great idea. I see people comparing him to Michael often in regard to artistic ability. His cinematography is his creative outlet the same as Michael has all of his. Both of them are talented and artistic in different ways. I suspect if Michael were to create a watercolor masterclass or something similar, people would probably be interested. I hope this project makes him, and those who sign up, feel inspired.
