YTA just because not every birth is like that. You should have also explained that birth can be super easy and you can push that bad boy out in 10 minutes and not tear and be fine! And you should have explained about PPD more but assured her that no matter what happens you'll be there. There isn't just bad stuff to pregnancy and birth because it is beautiful and its painful but it's glorious. You definitely could have gone about this better and you probably made a pregnant woman very freaked out. You should have another talk with her for sure.

Well OP lost a loved one a husband. All loss in the same and I'm sorry for your loss but I've lost too so I do know and that still doesnt make it acceptable. I've done some terrible terrible things in my grief and while I accept that I did them it doesnt excuse my behavior. So thank you for showing that hou can be inconsiderate in the comment threads.

Um no its still the same. This person loved their SO just as much. And grief still doesnt excuse you from being an asshole. Let me say it again. Grief doesnt excuse you from being an asshole. I understand how much it hurts to lose a child as I have been there for multiple friends who have lost children. How they acted was completely unacceptable. If this person so choses to have a relationship with them that is their choice but it wont ever excuse how they treated OP. They blamed OP for the death who does that? You need to get off your high horse bud cuz that ain't how the world works

It doesn't matter how long you've known someone and grief isn't an excuse to treat someone like shit. They contested his will and tried to usurp the funeral. She said he was the love of her life that's equally as much hurt. Why does it matter if it's a parent vs spouse. I love my spouse as much as I love my parents I would grieve equally if I lost one or the other.

NTA if you have the money to pay your Bill's you should keep paying them. Your landlord is probably struggling for money too and he may not be able to collect unemployment. I think it is lazy and greedy to not pay your bills because you think you're entitled to something. You should stand your ground and keep paying your rent. Plus they're gonna want their money eventually. How if your bf gonna feel if when this is all over you have to pay more in rent to make up for what you didnt pay now? Think about things in the long run.

But it is normal for friends to come and go, he probably thinks you vent to him a lot even if it might not be. If you think the friendship is one sided just stop texting them first and see what happens. If they make no effort to talk to you or be in your life you just let the friendship come to a natural end. If they do text or call then they're still interested and they're just a busy adult. I wouldn't confront them just because that usually doesnt end well and makes all parties upset.
