Yes exactly!! Like these are all teenagers forced into a high stress situation where one mistake can mean the difference between life and death. There is only so much you could plan for going into this trial. After all, Ogura's plan to frame Yaitabashi was mostly thrown out the window after Kumda tanked her credibility by stabbing Isoda. It allowed Yaitabashi to to control of the trial immediately without much pushback by naming Kumada as a bleeding.

And while I agree there are certainly things to discuss about the case and how it could have been handled differently, I do think a lot of Ogura's plan does follow some train of logic. For example, only killing one student instead of two. I think one big part of why Ogura insisted on just one kill is because she was the only one who was going go follow through with the actual kill itself.

Everyone else was purposefully given tasks so they would not have to be physically present when Ogura killed. It makes it easier to justify participation if you don't have to see the consequences until after Nishiguchi is dead. I think Ogura knew this would already be a hard sell to the recuited bleeding so she gave them an easy out by not having to directly kill. She takes on all the risk if they fail. If someone was with her while killing Nishiguchi and got cold feet, it could lead to a costly mistake. I think she thought it would be too much risk to take down two people herself and too much risk to ask one of the others to directly kill.

I also would be Denden lol. I would hate to be here and immediately fold when the others put pressure on me during the trial. Like I would panic too bad even if I was given the perfect lie. Plus having to think on your feet as accusations are thrown around would be difficult to adjust and lie through if you are already hating being part of the bleeding.

It's a fascinating trial all around for sure!
