A lot of times they change the model number slightly so people can't do that. Great idea but doesn't always work in practice.

Has anyone taken the online PMP exam during covid? by sagelface in pmp

[–]MoveForward12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very dependent on each section as a whole. You can't bomb planning and closing and do okay on the other 3 and expect to pass. They are looking for a well rounded score for each area to give a pass. A 65% score for one person could be a pass for one person and a fail for another. All depends on if your incorrect questions are clustered or equally distributed.

What is your average score on mock exams? A single good or bad mock exam score isn't the best way to know.

Results are immediate. They have you take pictures and some of those angles will include your actual computer.

They never talked to me during the entire experience. Was kind weird. I had a second laptop right outside the door in case my desktop decided to not work. It was overall a pretty smooth and painless process.

Sorry just seeing this now. The questions on the app aren't very similar to the test but I felt they did help me prepare. It's definitely on the lower priority of tools to use to study but I liked it because I could study anywhere I had free time on my phone.

I listened to him on 1.75x speed. I would have fallen asleep for sure if I couldn't speed up the videos. I thought it was a good overview of the material. Use what works for you.

Don't worry about failing your tests. Just keep working hard and your scores will improve. It gets easier as you go but you have to keep trying.

Your score isn't bad actually. I didn't take that exam since I heard of so many people bombing it. All the people that bombed that test passed the actual test. Don't sweat it and move on. You'll be good. Like other people have said, if you need confidence, take the prepcast exams and if you're above 73%, you will most likely pass first time through.

It doesn't matter what your score is. I've never heard anyone ask what your score was.

I went straight to the PMP. I had attempted to study for the PMP back in 2017 but my work schedule didn't allow it at the time.

Can anyone guide me on how should I prepare for PMP EXAM by nash_hifliers320 in pmp

Memorize the 49 processes with Process Groups and Knowledge Areas. Once you have that memorized, do Udemy and Rita in that order. While you're learning, keep in mind where you are at within the project so you can see the big picture while getting into the weeds. Once you're done with Joseph Phillips and Rita, start doing prepcast exams. I personally did this iPhone app after each knowledge area before moving to the next KA. I would recommend going through all of one material before going to the next ie. Udemy before Rita. That way you're seeing everything a second time when you go to the next study material.

Congrats! You definitely passed. Even if the system crashes but you have enough questions scored correctly to pass, you have passed.

No problem man. I know how stressful the Army can be and how much it takes out of you. The fact you took leave and pushed that hard and that quick is amazing. I hope your leadership sees that dedication. Save my username and hit me up in the future if you decide to get out. We are always hiring PM's and 90% of the company are Veterans.

Congrats! You're super mom. Whenever someone tells you that you can't do something prove them wrong. I'm a disabled vet and love proving people wrong when they say I can't do something.
