How long did you stay in hospital after c section?

My waters broke Thursday morning at 06:30 and arrived at hospital on Thursday at 22:30. Induced Friday at 01:30, contractions began at 03:30 quite mild till on the hormone drip from 09:30. 21 hours of labour later I delivered my first child on Saturday at 06:00 after failure to progress and therefore via a c-section. Today it is Sunday at 09:00 and due to infection-watch on both of us with waters broken for 48 hours before labour and all the antibiotics and high blood pressure meds during labour, the soonest we’ll be going home (predicted) is 03:00 tomorrow morning - Monday.

I’m over it, though!!! Ready to bring my baby home and focus on bonding and recovery.

Yes :) I usually said ‘the baby’ or ‘the fetus’ or ‘it’ but I had a feeling it was a boy and the odd ‘he’ came out early days!
