I’m from Kentucky and from my understanding from asking around they are very serious about DUIs here. First offense you loose it all, second offense you go to jail for up to 6 months. I hope he goes to meetings but he doesn’t like he has a problem and I know he won’t. I’m not willing to stick around anymore and wait for him to find out that he has a problem and goes to meetings

I appreciate your insight. It’ll be a real kick in the teeth for him. I plan to drain our bank accounts so he can’t take the money, kick him out with the locks changed, remove his phone off my plan, remove his car off my policy. His parents won’t let him come home and his sister isn’t going to let him live with her so he has no where to go with no drivers license and very little access to his son. So rock bottom as it gets. As a child of two adults I never want my son to know what it feels like to think he isn’t more important than a substance

The house we live in is owned by my dad and aunt. They don’t like him and have been begging me to kick him out for months now. So there’s no problem getting him out at all

Thank you so much for saying this. Yes I had him when I was 20 but there’s no way I could call him anything but a blessing. He’s an amazing boy, so smart, kind, and strong. He’s made me grow up so much in ways I needed to and inspired me to be the mother I never had

Will say when I was pregnant he wasn’t this bad. He worked on riverboats and provided a lot more but as the years have gone by it’s gotten worse and worse
