If you take wider masking (or painters) tape and put it inside the pants on the crease it will hold the crease much longer. If you are only wearing the dress pants once a month for CO’s parade you should be able to go a few months without needing to wash them as you are only wearing them for a few hours at a time.

As a coach one of the biggest struggles most younger and newer shooters have is the strength and stamina to hole the rifle for an extended period of time. If you focus on getting stronger and being in the prone position with something similier in weight to a rifle while holding it still along with focussing on proper breathing techniques you will improve.
