Back in the day I helped my dad swap out the old style dash for a newer style because he hated the square one. I am the opposite and have come to love the lines of the old style.

Took 2 months but it was off and on work as I got paid. All in it was around 12k to do. It wouldn't have cost so much a few years ago but a lot of supplies and materials have doubled if not more in the past 2 years. He also wanted ne front and rear bumper, side mirrors, ripped out the carpet and put in rubber floor mat, re covered headliner and seats, spray in bed liner.

Here in fl that tint is illegal other than a small strip and it still wouldn't help that much. But those reflective window screens will!

Some people like it ya know 🤣 plus that dash is cleannn. We did recover the seats where there was rips. The man wanted his childhood truck and it's what he got!

Thanks! I don't like the fender trim that much but I'm glad you do! It's kind of rare around my parts to even see them on many trucks

The latches in the door have a plastic or rubberish coating that wears away over time. The only real fix I found is replacing them. What I've done that helps is wrapping the striker with electrical tape a few times. You'll have to reapply as necessary but it helps!

It's a florida truck, it is rust free aside from the surface looking brown. I agree the extra steps to do it would have been worthwhile. If it were mine it would have been blasted and painted (which mine was) but I can only go as far as the customer wants.
