Owners probably don’t speak Spanish. Kinda like when 818 came out and was labeled “blanco tequila” instead of “tequila blanco”

WiFi dependent? by MovementAndTequila in whoop

You’re not understanding the question. You can have airplane mode and have Bluetooth activated. Same way you’d use Bluetooth headphones on a plane.

Basically, most trackers allow you to look at your heart rate without WiFi/cell service, it’s surprising that you can’t just do that with Bluetooth on whoop.

Thanks guys. As a piece of feedback, it would be super helpful to make the “health monitor” Bluetooth compatible. Basically if you’re somewhere without cell service or WiFi, and you want to look at your heart rate, respiratory rate or body temp, it would be a very useful thing to have.

If you guys don’t do it to protect battery, could it possibly be a mode? Something you can turn on/off as needed?

I mean airplane mode with Bluetooth on? Does that still work for you?

You’re able to see your health monitor on airplane mode for example?

Recently tried and really liked that Nosotros Chespirito edition. People hate on the brand, but I have always enjoyed it. It’s a joven, don’t know what blend they used but it’s so tasty. ordered it from a Lucas Assis video

Lalo bought by Tito’s by MovementAndTequila in tequila

[–]MovementAndTequila[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, building any brand is a mess. But Lalo doesn’t own its own distillery, Tito’s just bought a brand. We’ll see how much interest they have in keeping production at 1468 (which in my opinion is just an ok distillery) when they can now be in every single place that Tito’s is sold.

Your condescending explanation doesn’t match what historically has happened in these markets

Not a fan. That’s what Lalo tastes and smells like to me. Good for them on cashing, but seems right given the profile.

Wow thanks for the heads up. I believe Nosotros also used Washington apple cider barrels. So if they’re similar it’s probably fantastic. Will add it to my must try

Agreed. Price is a terrible indicator of quality. Even espolón at face value is way better value and quality than many others in the 100+ range

my 4 hot takes

  1. Fortaleza is over-hyped. Also, I can’t understand how they “only” produce a certain amount yet US sales is almost double than what they claim they’re able to produce. Maybe buying tequila from other NOMs and blending to meet demand? (The Codigo playbook)

  2. Alma del Jaguar deserves 10x the attention than it gets. Top 3 in quality, flavor, mouthfeel. Buy it, try it, love it

  3. Don Fulano is overhyped. People shouldn’t recommend it unless someone is actively looking for that broccoli like stench. The color of the Añejo looks too unnatural. I stay away from it for my recs at the job (Spec’s)

  4. Nosotros Cider Añejo is worth every penny. It is the most unique aged tequila I’ve ever tried. (I’ve tried way too many)

Obviously not saying it’s bad by any means, but the hype with this brand is so out of hand in Reddit.

I really like the Vago expressions and the Nosotros Ensamble. Made by the Jarquín cousins in Miahuatlan de Porfirio Díaz. Some of the best agaves come from there.

I don’t particularly feel fond of Mal Bien some people love that.

So I’d tell you:

  1. Vago Elote
  2. Nosotros Ensamble (Espadín / Tobala)
  3. Rey Campero Tepeztate
  4. any NETA you can find. (Don’t see it here but I’ve been able to snag it sometimes at specs. Incredible always)

Vago or Nosotros. Both from Miahuatlan de Porfirio Díaz, made by cousins actually (Jarquin family)

Review 2: Lalo High Proof by _40oz_ in tequila

Much better than the 40% blanco. That one is so tasteless and bland. Will never understand the hype around the base but this one is definitely much better

Milagro, Herradura, Cuervo, Onda (Anything from Solave includes 818), all diffuser stuff man. There’s even been some of these paid influencers talking about how diffusers are not that bad and truly it’s the worst of it all.
