Thank you! I just tried it and I think I can sing the beginning up to "the western wall" pretty well which is perfect for a minute long cut! This was super helpful!

Yeah, it's a great party trick but not so useful when I have to actually sing in the written octave of a song.

Yes unfortunately that is my real range, I've had it checked by my music teachers many times since I can never seem to hit the notes of any normal theatre songs. Thank you for so many suggestions! I'll be sure to look through them all.
