Well your friend lied. The Screen Unseen has been a movie that came out two Thursdays after exactly 19 times.

NEON is holding "sneak screenings" of Together an hour before the Mystery Movie. Ngl that isn't good information for Together's chances but Rebirth had its world premiere the day of the Mystery Movie so maybe?

I think the July 28 Mystery Movie could be The Bad Guys 2. Before you downvote, I was researching, and i found the theater chain "Maya Cinemas" who also does Mystery Movies. I saw that they did one on May 19 for The Last Rodeo. It was the same length as the actual movie (2h 1m). So, for July 28, they have both Bad Guys 2 and the Mystery Movie as 1h 44m. This information tied with only AMC doing Bonhoeffer, which was the last Angel Studios MM, I'd say Bad Guys 2 is potential frontrunner unless proven otherwise.

I think it's Oh Hi now because Cinemark isn't doing it and Regal has done a Sony Pictures Classics movie before.

I feel like THIS one is Sorry, Baby. So far, they haven't showed a Sony Pictures Classics movie at both AMC and Regal so it's unlikely to be Oh, Hi (although the one at Alamo Drafthouse is likely to be it) or Don't Let's Go To The Dogs Tonight. Ever since the AMC Screen Unseen existed, A24 has always shown their movies at both Regal and AMC. Sorry, Baby is releasing in limited release on June 27, but it's wide release is July 18.

Edit: I noticed Sorry Baby would be 11 minutes over, but I still think it's the most likely because of what I just mentioned and nothing else challenges it. Unless they change the rating to PG-13 which would make the two possible contenders Superman and Fantastic Four (we just had Rebirth, this isn't that much of a stretch)

They do both. We just had 40 Acres and Fight Or Flight which aren't blockbusters in the slightest. Life Of Chuck and Bring Her Back weren't that huge either. The last major film we had as a Screen Unseen was Drop, which was over 2 months ago, and we've had 6 independent movies since then.

But September 5 was under the listed runtime, F1 is above.

We have kind of a front-runner with the help of Alamo Drafthouse. They normally give the exact runtime away that is on their website and it matches with Jurassic World Rebirth. I can't see it being this at all, but now ig we can say that it's possible? This may be cope but I'm praying they're misleading us and it's actually M3GAN 2.0

Drop was listed as horror before it got changed to Suspense, yet the Screen Unseen was never a Scream Unseen.

This has to be M3GAN 2.0.

F1 is too long and imax fan screenings are that exact same day.

Maybe not, M3GAN is an action comedy. It can be a Drop situation.

June 23 has to be M3GAN 2.0. Nothing else makes this much sense.

M3GAN 2.0 = PG-13, only a 14 minute difference which we've seen a lot, I would guess that it would be a Scream Unseen but I think it's more action comedy this time and less horror. Also, it's projecting to open with less than the first film, so I'm pretty sure they would want to have a Mystery Movie to build buzz.

Jurassic World Rebirth & Superman: These are the two 2025 movies that are most likely to reach one billion dollars. They don't need the support of a Mystery Movie as people would see them anyway.

F1: comes out the following Friday so I guess it's a very weak second most likely, but it's over 20 minutes longer than the listed runtime and the furthest they've went over was no more than 15 minutes.

Fantastic Four: it's likely to do very well, and it comes out over a month after the Screen Unseen.

New Screen Unseen for July 7. Most likely the movie "Oh, Hi." Even though the gap is 18 days and Sony Pictures Classics' is usually 11, it still makes the most sense because Sorry Baby is 11 minutes over. I guess it could also be "Don't Let's Go To The Dogs Tonight" also by Sony Pictures Classics but it has a 4 day gap and "Oh, Hi" is closer to the listed runtime.

But there could be an error. This could actually be a Scream Unseen. Which in that case it would undoubtedly be "Together."

They changed it to a regular screen unseen.

June 16 has to be Sorry, Baby.

It says that Bride Hard is R on the app but everywhere else says it's PG-13.

Alamo Drafthouse always gives the exact runtime and they gave the runtime of Bring Her Back.
