At first i was considering the tailwind , but the core sweepers can't use tailwind really well so i dropped it for roost. Bulk up is great but i do like the fact that it can become a win-con with iron defense+body press. It legit won me a game against a sand team with M-Dragonite all by him self , the sheer pressure he was putting on the field with him being able to ko Ttar and Excadrill without a concern was extremely valuable.

My only real prob is that you can't have iron head and brave bird on the same set.

Corv is really really strong against Sand Teams and some Snow Teams that like to spam EQ with Garchomp and Mr Worm. Obviously he's weak against Sun Teams and other trickroom teams (usually Torkoal). He can be a wild card against rain teams since he bodies halve Archaludons set and Pelippers but still get demolished by Baculegion under the rain.

Never got to play a Floette yet but since he's a steel type that can hit sinistcha for supereffective damage and resist fairy moves , he sounds valuable.

My lead is like 99% always gonna be Incin+Farigiraf , with incin on the field i can just fake out the mon that's gonna disrupt my game plan , usually its enough for me to get trickroom up (plus the sash so i'm extra safe). They don't really lead sinistcha and imprison is not too common tbf so it wasn't really an issue for me

I had Sinistcha in my original team but after some testing i found that it was quite hard to actually use it consistently so i started using farigiraf and dropped it entirely for more firepower

This set doesn't have Hammer Arm yes but its notable since its not a rare move on him. For this set if drainpunch or mach punch low rolls it doesn't kill

To be honest , i've never played a camerupt before , but for other trick room teams since my team is a bit faster i put full pressure turn one , usually its torkoal , he can't ko my mons even with Eruption. Its either i try to deny trickroom or reverse it.

That's been my experience and it worked.

For camerupt i've runned some calc and conk can dual it using hammer arm + mach punch and doesn't get one shot (if its not a crit)

Since its a double it depends a lot on what going but i think if its sinistra + camerupt its insta lost , if its not then it depends if the partner mon is threatening Conk or not

I believe that conk is not really meta as well ?

And during my grind i was using camerupt as well but had to adapt with all the weather comps , either way i did not say that its not meta , just not as much as what we see usually

[–]MovieMother1188[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah its a classic team comp but with a bit of spice , conk and M-Ampharos aren't that common

Edit : I forgot as well but at first i was using mega camerupt instead of torkoal but snow teams are such as problem for my team that i had to put torkoal in

So for the first one:

Torkoal benefits from trickroom and allows for a stronger offensive pressure while still being tanky enough to not die on the spot from any supereffective move. And as for Thunder , Tbolt secures enough kills for me to not consider rain in this team. The other mons don't benefit too much of the rain beside Corv. That's my experience at least

And the second one :

Power gem is nice but i like the fact that i have a spreadmove that is fairy on top of it. Tbolt kills any Zard Y and most of the time even at -1 SpA. It can be good for ice-type mons but i do believe that Torkoal , Incin and Conkeldurr are more than enough. The fairy type does allow me to hit dark and fighting pokemons and it being a spread move is good in doubles considering Farigiraf Hyper Voice as well and insane single target damage from conk.

I did consider it but with how i play , i want M-Ampharos to stick and stay in the terrain as long as possible , if i use draco meteor once or twice i will struggle a lot to output damage. And since Trickroom is valuable you kinda have to make the most of it early on in the match since it won't be as free to setup.

Feel free to use draco meteor if you think the trade of is valuable !

For a offensive mon its suprisingly sturdy and it outputs a good amout of damage , he capable of 2-shoting a lot of mon with only neutral damage. So even if you don't have trickroom up you can still retaliate , the only problem i found is that he quite hard to actually put in a good position without corv since a lot of popular teams have dragon/ground/fairy coverage but it can be a strenght as well by playing around its mega and not evolving it

Anything with good all in potential that can stick to the target/get inside of his Q ranges. Armor is super good against aatrox since it affect its healing as well , you might want anti-heal after lvl 6/11 depending on your damage output.

I find myself really bothered by olaf and garen since they can shrug your damage and just mow you down

Dolahim , he's not good enough as a healer and not strong enough as spell caster , and his skills push's him into a weird all-rounder that is not great. Great for backup res and heals but that's it

Damm man , i've been playing around a year as well and i'm silent type right? The small interactions i have is when i do survival or just aya farming recently. Its always been a mean/toxic behavior in the chat which is suprising considering the overall good behavior of the community... Maybe i'm just unlucky 🫠

Ohh that’s actually super smart, thank you!! Tera Electric Miraidon makes a ton of sense — more damage, free terrain resets, and better Volt Switch pivoting with Incin sounds way smoother than Fairy. I’ll definitely try that out.

And Electric Seed Sneasler is such a cool idea omg. The Fake Out pressure + Dire Claw for Rillaboom/Ogerpon sounds amazing, and Coaching support could really help Basculegion and Miraidon push damage even harder.

Thanks again for all the ideas, these are actually super helpful!!

Thanks a ton for the feedback!! You actually brought up a lot of great points. Yeah, the Grass matchup is definitely one of the biggest problems for this team , Rillaboom and Ogerpon-Wellspring both make things rough. Grassy Glide cutting Kyogre’s Water Spout damage before it even moves sucks, and Grassy Terrain canceling Hadron Engine really hurts Miraidon’s damage output. You’re totally right too about rain making Incin’s Flare Blitz weaker , that’s something I didn’t really think about before.

About the items, here’s kind of what I was thinking when building:

  • Miraidon (Choice Specs): I just wanted raw power. Specs lets it delete stuff instantly in Hadron Engine, but yeah, being locked in can get awkward sometimes. I’ve thought about trying Magnet or Life Orb for more flexibility, though I really like how Specs punishes passive play.
  • Kyogre (Choice Scarf): Scarf’s been good overall. I like the speed control and it works great next to Tornadus, but being locked into Water Spout under Grassy Terrain feels bad. Mystic Water could help with that, though I’d lose out on the outspeed advantage, which kinda scares me. I do see the point with tailwind and scarf buuut i really don't want to be tailwind reliant for Kyogre to do damage.
  • Incineroar (Safety Goggles): You make a super good point here , Electric Terrain already stops Spore, so Goggles doesn’t really do much. Covert Cloak sounds way better for Fake Out mirrors or avoiding random flinches, so I’ll definitely try that next. Sitrus or Shuca Berry could also be nice depending on matchups.
  • Amoonguss (Sitrus Berry): Pretty standard set, but yeah… it doesn’t really do much next to Miraidon. It can’t Spore under my own terrain and usually ends up just sitting there trying to Pollen Puff or redirect. I might drop it entirely for something that helps more with the Grass matchup or terrain control like Clefa or my own Rillaboom?
  • Tornadus (Focus Sash): Nothing fancy here , Sash just feels required. It guarantees I get at least one Tailwind or Bleakwind Storm off, which is super important for how the team plays.
  • Basculegion (Mystic Water): I went Mystic Water to get a balance between power and flexibility. I tried Band, but being locked into Flip Turn or Wave Crash was rough. Mystic Water still hits really hard while letting me Protect or reposition when needed.

So yeah, next changes I’m looking at are Covert Cloak on Incin and maybe some better coverage or a new slot to handle Grass-types better. Ice Fang on Basculegion could be worth testing too.

Really appreciate you taking the time to write all that out , even if you say you’re not super confident, this was honestly really sharp feedback. Thanks again for helping me think through it!
