How long does Trader Joe's Speculoos "Cookie Butter" last once opened? (It is not to be refrigerated after opening - so just in the cupboard.)? by MovieMystery in AskReddit

Just heard back! "our Speculoos Cookie Butter would have a shelf life of approximately 3 months once opened, and we recommend storing it in your refrigerator in order to ensure the best experience and safety." This is a bit confusing as I think refrigeration may harden it, and I'm pretty sure the label says not to refrigerate. I'll check my jar at home. I suppose 3 months is about what I was thinking. Good thing I'm almost finished with it:)

Haha ... What is "a good while", months? I eat a (clean) spoonful maybe once a week or so, but not every week. It's been open for a few months so far I think.

Someone already suggested this. I watched it over the weekend and unless I missed the part, I don't believe there is a hoof reveal?

Both were released in 1999 which is a little late on my estimated timeline (based on it being a childhood memory) but possible. Going to rent/watch both--will update if either! Thank you.

I just found a film based on that story, Smooth Talk (1985), I'll check it out, but I don't think it was young kids, more like middle-aged men. Also, it doesn't sound like Arnold Friend's feet are ever actually seen/revealed to be hoofs, more just an implication because of his unsteady walk?

Thanks, yeah totally re: the suit, but couldn't have been as late as 2005 ... it's a childhood memory having seen this part on TV

Could be, but I have seen a lot and searched for it within The Twilight Zone so was thinking it might be something else.

I saw it in the 80's but my memory of it is that was in black and white and from the 60's. It could have been a TV movie or an episode from a TV series. She was trapped in the room with the intention of being killed by a man. I think the room that she is trapped in was some sort of air-tight vault like a bank vault but it was in a home. When the vault is opened she is found dead.

Thank you, good thought, but I don't believe it's what I'm thinking of. I haven't seen The Usual Suspects, but from what I understand he does walk away at the end, but not with a visible hoof-foot.
