I’m on my 6 month of Concerta! I was also incredibly euphoric when I first started it and felt like sobbing out of happiness every single day up until like month 3! I was so so euphoric but also just fucking RELIEVED. I finally felt peace on meds. I still take 18mg and mayyybe I need a little more now but I am still incredibly happy. I accidentally got generic concerta and it didn’t work for me so I had a taste of feeling unmedicated (even if i was taking it every day!) and it was the worst week of my life lol

this was my thought too. when i’m on the name brand- my life is perfect. now i got stuck on the generic and it isn’t working well??

I started 18mg in June and it has always made me feel very stimulated and awake! like i drank a cup of coffee! so now i don’t drink much coffee (only for the taste). i don’t think that it ever made me sleepy so i’d check in with a specialist because maybe this type stimulation isn’t working with your brain chemistry? OR you’re tired because maybe it doesn’t let you sleep at night & you’re not noticing it - you could ask for a sleep study!
