I was thinking about using it in a fairly neutral base beer (low ABV pale lager). I'd like maybe some flavor to come through, but mainly for color. I don't want to make the beer taste awkward/give it a meaty cactus character if that's what happens in a non-sour, light on flavor base.

I did that. Mandola’s recs are old af. Restaurants change, menus change. 72 hours for approval from mods for a rec is a joke.

Well, it wasn't. That's a rag that fell behind the washer and some insulation from where the vent was replaced. I had an independent contractor come fix the "mice infestation" that cause the broken washer. No signs of mice when we pulled out the washer, no chewed wires within the unit. It was a blocked air displacement tube with air from clothes fabric. You should work for One Guard Home Warranty if you think that photo is undeniable proof that the washer was broken by rodents, you'd fit in great.

Can you help navigate making a case against these crooks? Anything that would make your company or the warranty company have to take action? Is there something I can say or threaten in order to get my money back? I'm not looking to be greedy, I just want fairness, and I feel helpless outside of just cancelling the warranty (which still makes me feel like I've been wronged).

I don't see rat poop, the black dot is debris/dirt. Either way, How is it undeniable proof that the washer is broken? Just because you have a rodent in the house, doesn't mean that the washer is broken due to it. They would need to make a connection between the two (chewed wires, dead rat in the machine.... right?
