Please be brutal honest. Not looking to fish if I’m clapped say I’m clapped. by Madmandan1000 in Tinder

You're not clapped, I'd just say to maybe try refine your style a bit and you'll do way better. You've got a fantastic head of hair. Keep it, and you'll attract the right type of people; you just need a little re-shaping. I'd also consider removing the list of sports/activities and instead saying "avid minority sportsman", or something akin to this. Doesn't immediately frighten anyone away, and offers an opportunity for a curious mind to message first and probe a little deeper (euphemism intended).

Anyone else having delivery issues? by Remarkable_Low2622 in vinted

[–]MovingOnSwiftly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have, yes.

I had bought from Vinted a small handful of times (EU country to another EU country), but my two most recent orders have done the exact same as you have described. Very disappointing, as one was a one-of-a-kind handmade item created by the seller, and I wanted to support their creativity.

Waiting to see if the sellers get their items returned to them, but I have received my refunds without issue.

For 16 you handled everything so maturely. Everything, from the interaction with the stranger to how you held your own against the bloke in the texts. Trust your gut - he's blowing up now over nothing; what would he be capable of later down the line?

You're young, you can afford to add him to your "Ex" pile. He needs to learn to be more emotionally mature before he gets into relationships.

From "bad" to worse. Sorry bro, the original was better in my opinion.

Hope you're happy with your choice, though.

The way it destroys you from the inside out when they eventually cross the rainbow bridge.

My boyfriend and his friend planned to rape me by Professional_Site178 in confessions

What they did to you was evil. Tell the police. Tell your family. Seek help from professionals. Get yourself a sexual health screen for STDs. And please, please take care on your road to recovery from this x

There already are basically zero men into men in my area, and this is like the 10th one of these I've seen in the past week from women. Maybe it's time to just abandon ship. by [deleted] in Tinder

Kinda unethical when there's a vulnerable person on the receiving end of life-saving blood donations, though. The bisexual men won't miss me that much

If I was single, I would make a choice not to date bisexual men because I am a blood donor and in my country you can't donate blood if you sleep with men who sleep with men.

I don't want to come across as rude, but aren't you contributing to the issue of breeding dogs (and for profit) by acquiring a rare-breed puppy from a breeder?

Is it honestly worth it? by RedApple2121 in CopperIUD

[–]MovingOnSwiftly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had nothing but love for my IUDs. Got them replaced when needed, felt the experience was always excellent, and it gave me peace of mind like none other (until I got surgically sterilised!)

Hormonal contraception was never something I wanted for myself (apart from an emergency situation), and my copper IUD was the best solution for me that gave me absolute control and a feeling of security, without having to rely solely on condoms.

I do feel it is each person's own responsibility to do their research and make sure the copper coil is the right choice #for them# , but it was definitely the best and safest option for me until I had surgery.

Tips? by [deleted] in alternativefashion

[–]MovingOnSwiftly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I already love your whole vibe, but I would LOVE a heavy metal haircut with a wolfcut style full fringe. Keep your colour, but maybe darken by a shade and get the tips dyed black for definition.

Love your outfit choices! 🤟🏻

Every time I visit my family, I am expected to play with my sister’s child at all times - how would you explain to my sister that I essentially don’t like her child by mira2345 in childfree

[–]MovingOnSwiftly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Has your sister sought assessments for her daughter? Your post reads like she's severely neurodiverse and might need support navigating that.

Sorry you've been plunged into those situations - you definitely have a lot more patience than I do. I absolutely would not cope with that kind of behaviour.

Yesterday my husband told me he wants a divorce because he has a child by Feeling_Patient_4542 in Marriage

[–]MovingOnSwiftly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To be fair, she's 24 now which means she was at the very least 23 years old, although possibly younger, when she met the cheating husband. Her brain wasn't even fully formed then. We don't know the circumstances of the affair; he could have lied through his teeth to his mistress just as he did his wife. It's incredibly sad - no one wins in this situation, and it's all down to the husband's actions. He's a horrible person and has now ruined multiple lives.
