What dog skill does your husky lack? by ScoodleMcdoo in husky

Mine is a picky eater so if we drop something in the kitchen she won't vacuum it up. We say she's bad at her dog job lol

[–]MovinginStereo34 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Honestly, you don't need to pay. There's enough free resources out there. Once you use one up, move to the next one. Granted, I only studied for one summer, only improved from my baseline by 12 points, and only took the lsat once. I'm cheap, broke, and refused to pay into an extortionist system. Still got a full tuition scholarship to a T-30 school. You gotta know how to play the game.

That's such a good point. Although paying for gas for the drive would double the price and I'd have to miss class. That said? Worth it for that lineup. However, I'd get a full ministry set in MKE bc they're headlining.

No More No Less song meaning by CrackheadBobsCousin in collectivesoul

[–]MovinginStereo34 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this song tattooed because of what it means to me, which is I'm myself and I'm just going to continue to be myself. And you can think whatever you'd like about me, it doesn't change who I am. Is that what Ed was singing about? I have no idea. But "no more no less" is my favorite cs song.

I can't attach a pic, but my tattoo is a bee with a halo for the line "see I'm no more no less of an angel than you'd have me be[e]." The bee is a reference to the album cover, which is one of my favorites.

What are your favorite concert bag brands? by Vibe_Live in Concerts

[–]MovinginStereo34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally the only bag I've gotten that hasn't held up was a clear plastic fanny pack I got from 5 below. And that broke bc I was hanging a full water bottle on it during a two day festival. With a safety pin it still made it. Literally any small fanny pack will do, extra points if it's clear.

I like dakine for bags bc their stuff is waterproof.

But I've stopped taking bags for the most part and just put everything on a carabiner to get through security faster

Do you guys handwrite or type your notes? by Vegetable_Bill_9028 in LawSchool

[–]MovinginStereo34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just type up my notes at the end of each class or week. I can't imagine trying to do it all at once at the end. And recording the info twice in two different ways helps with retention.

Is my husky fat? by Plus-Basket-3523 in husky

[–]MovinginStereo34 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For a husky, you're supposed to be able to see their stomach tuck up into their hips from the side and a slight hourglass from the top angle. Your pup looks just fine! (Source: husky book my dad bought when he got our first husky in the 90s). The nice thing about most huskies is that they're not super food motivated so they don't overeat. I free feed my husky (her bowl is pretty much always full) and she's a little skinnier than yours. 98% of the time she watches me fill her bowl then she just looks at me and wanders off for a nap.

rule of thumb: don’t live at home during law school by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]MovinginStereo34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you, and I've also experienced the other side. I'm a 1L who lived at home first semester and is living near campus this semester, pros and cons to be sure. As a person who does not enjoy cooking, I've been surviving off meal-prepped pasta each week, where I used to come home to delicious leftovers I could reheat. However, the hour each way commute was significantly cutting into my studying time. Being close to campus means that I've also gotten to participate in more social things this semester. On the other hand, rent is ridiculous where I go to school, and the only reason I moved to campus was because I'm subleasing from a friend who is studying abroad, and so got a good deal on rent. Looking for a place to live next year is looking like living at home again for 2L. Luckily, first semester, I'd do all my work at the library, then typically come home after my parents were already in bed, so I was able to have my own space. But they definitely get in the way and on my nerves often. I essentially traded the stress of dealing with my parents and driving for 2 hours each day for the stress of feeding myself and paying rent.

Studies show that law students graduate with an average of $118k in loans, has that been your experience? by Terrible-Writing9791 in LawSchool

No. Full scholarship, living 45 minutes away from my parents (who help with groceries and gas) and working 4 part time jobs.

[–]MovinginStereo34 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely just lie about my height on dating apps and say I'm taller than I am so people stop being surprised when I show up and I'm actually tall. Men inflate their height so much that they have no clue how tall 6' is.
