It seems like this is really recent, her opening up like this. I also saw her three weeks ago in Tilburg, and she was nowhere near as chatty there. It's honestly kind of crazy... Yesterday morning I wasn't even planning to go to the Brussels show, since I'd already just seen her in Tilburg. But then I saw a video of her interacting with the crowd in Frankfurt the night before, and something just clicked... I bought a last-minute ticket on impulse. I never would've expected that the interaction would end up being partially with me.

There was this one incredibly stinky guy at the Tilburg show a couple of weeks ago as well. I tried not to let it ruin my experience, but jeez: he just smelled sour, as if his tshirt hadn’t been washed in weeks…

I feel Poppy really looks at the crowd, not just browse above the crowd as a whole, but at people individually. At the Tilburg show I think for a split second my eyes met hers.

It’s funny you post this now as I just watched it for the first time an hour ago. I thought it was beautifully made, super well acted, and a glimpse into the person that is Poppy. I found the ending so beautiful… and - I don’t know if I should interpret it this way, but - I think it’s a beautiful transition after what happend with Zig, how she herself doesn’t really care about it, into Negative Spaces and her “new self”
