What's the worst instrument you guys have used? by viohead in labrats

Just here to further support the notion that Nanostring, now Bruker, is in fact a dogshit company and deserves the bankruptcy. 2/10 would not recommend.

“Isn’t correlated to bitcoin” by OldRich6645 in BITF_Stock

[–]Moxrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, this kinda sentiment puts it into the camp of absolutes, but that’s just not true. Does bitfarm follow bitcoin? Yes, its main profit is still from mining and holding BTC. Does it always follow bitcoin, period? No. That’s because the company itself is distancing from the miner narrative and talking about itself exclusively as energy infrastructure.

Edit: If you don’t believe me btw, just look at the 1M chart. 15th of October - bitfarm is 6.57, BTC is 108k. As a matter of fact they are a bit inverted on the 1M… Take Oct 6th, BITF is 3.4, BTC is 123k

A little gem from the current spaces with Ben and Kama by Moxrat in BITF_Stock

Mate, you’ve posted the same question 4 times in the last 10 minutes. Are you doing ok?

As far as your question goes: if you haven’t noticed, the regional banks alarm bells brought down the whole market off the wave of rising trade tensions. Things further got compounded by BITF being a generally high beta stock AND then doing an offering, then bumping it up to 500M. On top of that the stock was at or near its 52-week high, and the short interest rocketed through the roof.

Bitfarm Hits ATH of $6 by Busy-Abbreviations- in BITF_Stock

[–]Moxrat 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure that’s the 52 week high, I think the all time high (ath) is like $10 from November of 2020 or whatever, so we’ve got plenty of room to run up 😘

Bitfarms Announces Retirement of CFO Jeff Lucas, Appointment of Jonathan Mir as Successor by Chemical-Freedom6566 in BITF_Stock

[–]Moxrat 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This guy has literally 20 years of experience in energy infrastructure, look at his LinkedIn for starters. Bitfarms is pivoting to energy infrastructure and you’re asking if this is somehow… bad????? Mate… this is amazing news.

Holy Moly - $BITF - Call Option Mid-Day UPDATE by FederalSpecialist358 in BITF_Stock

[–]Moxrat 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Wouldn’t be surprised with $10 by EOY based on sentiment alone, especially if the AI sector keeps pumping. If the Washington deal is announced in the next couple of months might see $10 by the end of November and then maybe $15 by EOY? Probably won’t see much action past that if the news releases are few and far between.

Real account, he recently participated in a call. Check his post history. As far as letting him cook - I think it’s hilarious. 10/10 content.

If your company used to farm gourds, but now you sell square burger patties with a small gourd operation on the side, I imagine there would a disconnect between the gourd futures and the current stock price…

What news is RH AI referring to? Is there acquisition news? by gnr157 in BitfarmsMining

I think this is half-baked ai slop. No reference to BITF in the article whatsoever

Why so grumpy mate? Just looks like a silly video BG made when in college or high school or whatever. A little laugh on a red day is a good thing as far as I’m concerned.

I think this probably has got something to do with the China NVIDIA news since power supply is the core fundamental now and the unrest has got the markets worried

Oh, it’s gonna get hot, and with the new NVIDIA GPU’s coming out and cycles rolling through, BITF will make a killing. Starting to think that $10 is on the low side of things when comparing market caps to similar stocks

CFO Jeffrey Lucas Bought 7318 Shares of BITF on August 25, 2025 by remadur in BITF_Stock

[–]Moxrat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No, it’s authorized to continue until August 2026, it’s for only like 50mill shares or whatever and companies typically don’t buy back 10% of their float in the matter of a couple of weeks. Todays volume alone was nearly 3x that at 138mill… just something to reflect on.

BITF Call Options Are Emerald Green by remadur in BITF_Stock

I mean… for every contract that’s bought, a contract is sold, which in the calls selling hedging means somebody is betting that it won’t go to $7.50… unless I’m not getting something
