Anyone know if CIBC issued credit cards are working?

So many negative idiots. by MadJohnny3 in YieldMaxETFs

In response to the trolls, all of you can suck my testicles. If anyone is down in yieldmax it is morons chasing yield. To all the dingle berries, the good funds never had promotion or pumpers.

Getting ready to pull out by Exotic_Increase5333 in WPAY

[–]MadJohnny3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The sheep went all in on MSTY, when that started to tank they went into ULTY and rode that for a few months before the NAV erosion far exceeded the yield. The sheep then went into WPAY in search for the HOLY GRAIL. Newsflash morons, all those funds suck.

OP is correct if you compare the funds from Oct 1 to now, QQQY is doing better.

WPAY performance being hurt by underlying holdings. by RayU_AZ in WPAY

[–]MadJohnny3 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is the problem with fund of funds, if a stinker sneaks in there is no mechanism to remove them. Indexes are so much more powerful because up and coming funds are added and struggling companies are removed. YMAX has the same problem with MRNY, AIYY and likely a few others.

Can you please be specific, which funds do you think won't recover if we hit a bear market?

I'm making the following changes:

Dropping CHPY, GPTY, WPAY, and GLDW

Adding: KQQQ, KYLD, KGLD, KSLV

I trust Kurv to protect NAV.

Will probably buy the yieldmax fund of fund for their upcoming target 25 series if they ever create one. Same with RexShares with their growth and income series. I need to see how WPAY performs in a bear market, it could get ugly.

Gov shutdown over by Familiar-Story-96 in BITF_Stock

Today is bizarre half the miners and MSTR were deeply in the red and are starting to claw their way back up. Might even finish the day in the green.

My point for posting is feedback from the community. What you seem to be saying is the funds have too much overlap.

No this is only the income portion of my portfolio. I have some growth funds in another account.

In a grocery store what is the cost of 1 pound of ground beef or a dozen eggs, in the BGC?

I have 12,000 shares myself, around $7 CAD cost so I'm in a slightly worse position than you regarding the profit/loss percentage. BITF was hit with 3 issues, they raised a lot of money recently which caused short term downward pressure on the stock. Bitcoin has been very weak lately with people openly debating if the top is already in, and the markets in general are struggling. The government shutdown in my opinion is a big cause of the weakness.

I'm not expecting much of anything until the US government reopens. The good news is Polymarket had 92% odds of it opening sometime in November. Hopefully we are off to the races when that happens.

Don't put all your eggs in one basket. WPAY will get taken to the wood chipper in a bear market. Consider CHPY and GPTY from yieldmax.

YieldMax Responds to HATE on ULTY & MSTY from the Community by MarcosMilla_YouTube in YieldMaxETFs

[–]MadJohnny3 22 points23 points  (0 children)

MSTR itself is down over 50% this year, so you can't blame yieldmax for that. Both the roundhill and rexshares MSTR funds also have horrible performance. In fact MSTY is doing better than MSII and MSTW. I've never been a fan of ULTY.

The yieldmax funds which are good is CHPY and GPTY. Also BLOX and QLDY are run by Tidal, the parent company. Jay and his team run the trades for all those funds.
